His dark-blonde hair is frankly more trouble than it's worth, or so his dad keeps saying. Even so, he likes it and that's what matters. Despite thinking otherwise, he's also quite clever when he puts his mind to things. For the most part, Harley is an ambivert. He's often reserved, able to spend hours without any need for socialising. A handy trait for someone as hard-working as he is. But, he's also an outgoing lad. Someone who enjoys socialising despite thriving when he's alone, having little trouble starting or keeping a casual conversation. That is, until it turns overly personal. Preferring to keep sensitive topics to himself and his close friends. Speaking of close friends— Harley tends to be extremely protective of those dear to him. Some might call him thick-skinned; appropriate considering he couldn't care less when someone tries to rile him up. His friends, however, can always count on his support, especially if they are being picked on. As for his hobbies, Harley enjoys all sorts of sports. Magical or muggle, it does not matter. As a baseline, he has a particular interest in quidditch and muggle football. Unsurprisingly, he had always been the athletic sort, yet, his favourite pastime is drawing and painting. A hobby he picked up from his dad. It is not uncommon to catch him doodling whenever he gets some alone time, especially when he feels down. ___

___ Pre-Hogwarts Childhood has overall treated Harley well. Growing up, he had many friends, all of whom were muggles. Before his enrolment at Hogwarts, Harley had been attending muggle schools up until he graduated from primary school. His dad, a muggle, had always insisted that Harley have a "normal" childhood, at the very least until he inevitably received his Hogwarts acceptance letter. Not least because he's been a single parent ever since Harley's pureblood mother left when he was only two years old. For her, the difficulties of adjusting to the muggle way of life were far too much, never mind the backlash she received from her parents and siblings. They always insisted that a muggle and their half-blood child had no place in the family. Indeed, not long after she moved back to her parent's home, she cut off all contact with Harley and his dad. Of course, Harley only has limited knowledge of the situation, thanks to his dad doing the best he could to shelter him from such viewpoints. Though, he had thought it best that Harley knew the basics of his heritage. Always ensuring that the boy had the best upbringing possible, even if that meant raising him on his own. It doesn't come as a surprise that Harley had little exposure to magic growing up. Even so, he has always been aware that he's "different" from the other kids at his school. Harley's first instance of magic can be summed up as both amusing and unfortunate. It was another average school day, not long after his seventh birthday. He had insisted on taking one of his new toy cars to school to show his friends. While not convinced it was a good idea, his dad reluctantly agreed. Only to realise after that he probably shouldn't have... All was well until one of Harley's teachers approached him during lunch and insisted on confiscating the toy, citing that "toys were not allowed on the premises". Unfortunately for Harley, she ultimately managed to do so. As one can expect, he didn't take it very well, though his friends did their best to try and cheer him up. It wasn't long until Harley was overtaken by a fit of laughter thanks to his friend's jokes and insults aimed at the teacher. No one could've anticipated that in Harley's ensuing amusement, the teacher's shoes would inflate like a balloon, causing her to stumble and fall. Luckily for him, she accidentally dropped the toy car in the process, allowing Harley to quickly retrieve it and make a dash for it. ______________
