Leaf has short, black, curly hair. They have grey eyes and pale skin.
Leaf is introverted and prefers alone time to social interaction. Their hobbies include reading fantasy novels, writing stories and exploring mysterious places alone with their tent. Their worst fear is being in a bad situation and knowing they cannot to anything to escape the situation.

They were born in Northumberland but grew up in East Anglia with their father, a muggle, after their mother, a witch, passed away from natural causes when Leaf was only five. The illness that took her life came so suddenly that there was no time to get her to hospital and she died on the journey. Because he was a muggle, their father didn't think to get magical help, and instead immediately tried to get hold of a muggle ambulance.

Growing up in a muggle household meant that Leaf attended a muggle primary school, where they enjoyed English and Geography lessons. Leaf never managed to make any proper friends throughout the first eleven years of their life. Their favourite holiday destination they have been to was Switzerland, as the beautiful scenery provided an amazing camping trip.

Leaf's dream is to visit every country/nation in the world and explore mountains, forests and cities. They also want to write a novel and get it published.

First Instance of Magic:
When Leaf was eight years old, they got lost in the forest in the Scottish Highlands on a camping trip with their father. One morning during the trip, Leaf saw a rainbow in the distance and decided to try to find the end of it, as many 8-year-olds would. But forgot the way back to the campsite. Then, as Leaf began to cry, they realised that their tears were strangely changing colour.

Marcus Shard was born on the 4th of December in 1984 in northern England, on the banks of the river Tweed to parents Maria and Edward. He moved to the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed after his first home was affected badly by a severe flood in 1990. He attended most of his school years there before moving to Cambridge in eastern England to study at the university.

He graduated in 2006 and then began a job as a member of an IT support team at a school in Kent. Whilst at a bookstore in Canterbury, he met Celestia Peterson, who he married in 2009 and they had a child, Leaf, three years later. Sadly, Marcus' wife passed away and left him to look after Leaf alone.

Celestia Peterson was born to parents Jane and Kyle in 1983 near Carnaerfon Castle in Wales. She was pure-blood. Celestia was also home schooled in her parents' home in the Welsh countryside until she received her letter for Hogwarts in 1994, and was sorted into Hufflepuff house, just like her mother before her.

By the time she had graduated in 2000, she already knew that her passion lay in magical creatures, and immediately started a job at a small business that researched these creatures in the region of southern England. There she met Marcus, who she married and later had Leaf.

But unfortunately, Celestia passed away from a common illness when she was just in her thirties.

Maria Clarke was born in a Scottish village off the coast of the North Sea, in 1956. She grew up there, and went to a tiny village school right the way until she was fourteen years old (it was normal for country kids to leave school at that age then).

She never attended university or any form of higher education, but instead joined a women's rights group based in Aberdeen as just a teenager. Whilst a full-time member of this group, she married Edward Shard and had two sons- William and Marcus. She never moved away from the area of Aberdeen and still lives there even after both her kids moved away and her husband passed.
