 Reducio ASPEN WOOD Wand-quality aspen wood is white and fine-grained, and highly prized by all wand-makers for its stylish resemblance to ivory and its usually outstanding charmwork. The proper owner of the aspen wand is often an accomplished duellist, or destined to be so, for the aspen wand is one of those particularly suited to martial magic. An infamous and secretive eighteenth-century duelling club, which called itself The Silver Spears, was reputed to admit only those who owned aspen wands. In my experience, aspen wand owners are generally strong-minded and determined, more likely than most to be attracted by quests and new orders; this is a wand for revolutionaries. DRAGON HEARTSTRING As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner. The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental. |

APPEARANCE Reducio Renelle’s a bit taller than the average 11 year old, at 152cm. She‘s slender but also kind of athletic-looking, because contrary to popular belief, quiet people can like sports too. This also attributes to her slightly tanned skin. Her hair is long, straight, and chocolate brown, and she has bluish-grey eyes. PERSONALITY Reducio Renelle isn’t a very sociable person. She is more inclined to follow her head than her heart, and sometimes comes off as rather cold and arrogant when people first meet her. She dislikes social interactions, and does her best to avoid them. Of course, Renelle can be very nice when she wants to, she just doesn’t see the need to be friendly and bubbly to every single person she meets. Make no mistake, though- Renelle is very loyal to those she loves, and would do anything for them. Most of the time, she brushes off small incidents, like if you spill something on her books or run into her, but if you do something do make Renelle mad at you, she will remember it forever, and get back at you when you least expect it. Renelle is quite intelligent, but hates studying. She’s smart enough to at least pass with a little bit of last-minute effort, though. If she wanted, she could probably be one of the best students in the grade, but she doesn’t care that much, since she knows the first grade doesn’t really matter. She is competitive, though, and if you challenge her, she will do her best to destroy you. |

First-Years and Second-Years may not enter Hogsmeade.
You may not duel outside of dueling club.
You may not be outside of your commons rooms after 10:00 pm 8:00 pm without permission.
You may not be outside of your dorm rooms after 10:00 pm without permission.
You may not be outside of your commons rooms before 6:00 am 7:00 am without permission.
Students may not enter the Forbidden Forest without permission from professors.
Students may not swim in the lake without staff supervision.
Students may not enter the common rooms or dormitories of houses other than their own.
Magic should only be used in relation to studies and extra-curricular activities or with permission.
Students may not enter staff rooms without permission.
There shall be no fighting without or with the use of magic.
Students may not disrespect staff, such as prefects or professors.
Stealing, in general, won't be accepted.
Absolutely no entering the restricted section without permission.
Skipping class, or not doing homework is not allowed, in any shape or form.
Students must wear their school uniform during school hours unless common clothes are permitted by a professor.
There will be no eating or drinking in the library under any circumstances.

No unauthorized pets or creatures allowed, or a second pet.
No weapons (other than your wand) on your person at any time.

No racist, sexist, homophobic remarks or insults - including the use of "mudblood"
No usage of Broomsticks outside of the Quidditch Pitch.
No drinking on the school grounds.

Background/history: Renelle has a very normal family, with both her parents working conventional jobs. Her father owns a bakery in a busy part of Diagon Alley, and her mother is a high-ranking official in the Ministry. She also has a little brother four years younger than she is, named Arien. In general, Renelle is quite fond of Arien, though they have disputes, like any other siblings.
Renelle has always quite wanted a pet, ever since she was five. However, the only pet Renelle wanted (and still does), is a pig, and her parents were never particularly fond of the idea of owning a ‘farm animal’, as they put it. Renelle honestly thought pigs were really cute, but she has to suck it up, at least until she gets her own place.
Renelle never really had many friends when she was little. Her parents often had friends over, and they always tried to make their friends’ kids spend time with Renelle, which was never fun. Renelle found them overly chatty, loud, and prone to destroying everything in their house in a matter of seconds. She mostly just locked herself in her room until they were gone.
In terms of parents, Renelle’s family was the opposite of what was the norm- her dad was the one who spent lots of time with her and her brother, with her mom spending what seemed like every waking hour, preoccupied with work. It was a normality for her at this point, though sometimes, she couldn’t help but feel like her mom was almost a stranger.
Her first instance of magic happened when she was four years old. She had just been introduced to another one of her potential playmates. This girl was very loud and talked way to much, Renelle believed, causing her to get more and more annoyed until the girl’s stuffed bunny caught fire. Needless to say, the family did not visit again.
