He is in good physical shape as a result of playing a few sports, and is overly concerned with his appearance and making his hair look good. Outside of Hogwarts, where he is required to wear robes, he often wears tank tops and shorts or jeans. He is also a little on the short side for his age.
Mental Description: He is confident, arrogant, and self-absorbed, thinking highly of himself and rarely putting anyone else before him (nor believing that others can outdo him in areas in which he excels). He is also brave, rash, and energetic, enjoying sports and always the first to jump into a difficult or terrifying situation without hesitation. He is loud and attention-seeking, and likely to be noticed by others whether or not they would like to notice him. As he ages, he will mature out of some of these traits.

First Instance of Magic:Jesse was born to a wealthy muggle family in Salisbury, the youngest of four children. His father was a lawyer, and his mother a software engineer. Both being busy with work all the time, Jesse spent much of his time outside of school in after school programs and in various teams/clubs because his parents would often not be home until late. He enjoyed the youth rubgy and football teams he was a part of, but resented the after school programs and that he was always among the last kids to be picked up from anything.
As the youngest in a large family, Jesse often went ignored and unnoticed, especially because all three of his older siblings were significantly older than him. Two of them were already in secondary school when Jesse was born (his step-brother and step-sister by his father), while even his youngest sibling was ten by then. As a result of being ignored at home, he was often loud and attention-seeking in other places, and frequently talked up his own achievements that went unnoticed by his parents.
While his home life was less than ideal, he always had close friends in school and was fairly popular, though others found his arrogance and self-absorbedness unpleasant. As a result, there were several students who hated him, though he paid very little mind to it.
His parents at first did not believe in magic when a professor arrived with Jesse's letter, in spite of the accidental magic he had done before. None of Jesse's siblings had shown any magical talent prior to him. After being convinced of magic's existence by several demonstrations, however, they agreed to send Jesse off to Hogwarts. He could sense they were happy to send him off to boarding school because that meant they wouldn't have to do as much to deal with him when they couldn't be around.

When he was seven years old, Jesse climbed onto the roof of a shed at school to prove he could do it. However, once on top he couldn't safely get down. He was trapped on top of the roof for nearly thirty minutes. Eventually, thinking no one would come to rescue him, he decided to jump. He knew he would likely break his leg doing so, but didn't see another option. To his surprise, he floated down and landed safely on the ground. He never told his parents about the incident, and simply assumed that he had been very lucky because he knew nothing of magic.
