Pre-Hogwarts life: Luke was born on March 08, 2012 in Redditch, Worcestershire, England with an older brother named Matthew James Wilhelm (born August 12, 2009). His mother, a pure blood Ravenclaw witch by the name of Yolanda Leigh Arundel, was born and raised on magic. She attended Hogwarts and always planned on marrying a wizard until she met Luke’s father, Alexander Daniel Wilhelm. Alexander was/is a Muggle and had absolutely no knowledge of the wizarding world prior to Yolanda. Luke, of course, has magical ability but Matthew doesn’t have any.

As said before, Luke was born and raised in Redditch and attended Tenacres First School until he was six years old, when his first instance of magic occurred. One day in July 2018, Matthew was bored so he stole most of Luke’s toys and his popsicle. After searching and searching, Luke finally got so angry that every plate, bowl, and piece of silverware in the house shattered. It was then the family concluded he must be a wizard, his mum then pulling him out of school to homeschool him, as she figured he would learn better emotional control with her than at brick and mortar school. He also learned a bit more about wizarding society and Hogwarts from his mother that he would’ve otherwise not been aware of. Despite being homeschooled, Luke made a few friends from Tenacres First School, namely Thomas Ferne, Kate Underwood, and Grant Trammell.

As for his personality interests, Luke is a very outgoing and social kid. Talking is one of his favorite things, even when it’s not suggested or allowed, and he tries to make friends with people in new environments. Luke also loves animals despite not having any pets of his own, and always longed for a cat. He is kind and compassionate towards both humans and creatures alike, though is too trusting for the most part, as he gets attached to someone or thing the moment they interact. He loves to play video games and hates reading and flying, meaning he almost never leaves Redditch unless it’s by car.
He is on a local competitive football team and is the star player.

Luke is a bit tall for his age, being 4 feet and 10.5 inches, or 148.6 cm, with messy, average-length brown hair. He has very bright green eyes and has a tendency to scratch beside his nose when he is lying. He has an aura of friendliness about him and is almost never seen grumpy or sad in public.
