During his upbringing, Allen enjoyed a privileged lifestyle, spoiled with all the material comforts a child could desire. They lived in a grand mansion that looks at least a century old, located far away from muggle settlements. His family showered him with abundant love and attention, leaving no void in his emotional needs. Nevertheless, a sense of envy was always present within him towards the appreciation his older sister received. Despite both siblings going through the same homeschooling experience, he couldn't understand why she excelled in every subject while he struggled with disinterest, performing merely at an average level.

Allen had very few hobbies, some of which are journaling and writing. Though, so far he hasn't been brave enough to share anything he wrote with anyone. His childhood was for the most part spent indoors, filled with boredom and solitude. Opportunities to develop friendships with other children were few and far between. Some of his most pleasant childhood memories include spending time with his older sister, playing chess together, painting each other's nails, and conversing about their aspirations for the future.

Allen's family possesses very negative views regarding muggles, yet due to never having had the opportunity to interact with one, Allen himself remains indifferent towards the subject. For this reason, he lacks any strong opinions and believes the hatred towards muggles is unnecessary. The mere thought of going to Hogwarts causes him a mix of excitement and nervousness, as it will allow him a life surrounded by other young wizards and witches.

When he was six years old, one night Allen woke up with a nightmare and struggled to fall back asleep. The unsettling ambiance of the dark bedroom was intensified by the eerie sounds of wind echoing from outside. To his dismay, a tree branch suddenly hit one of the windows of his room, further scaring the young boy. In a state of fear, Allen conjured several sparks of light, illuminating the room for a few seconds.
