Cicely can come across as timid or shy towards strangers, but she is simply withdraw, afraid of letting her true personality show for fear that it will be ill-received. Until she has a chance of warming up to someone, she remains distant but polite.
Cicely is fairly decent at masking her emotions, which leads others to believe that she is calm and collected but in reality, she is just able to hide how she is truly feeling.
A kind-hearted soul by nature, Cicely‘s empathetic tendencies lead her to lending a helping hand whenever she is able and she is unable to turn away from a person in need of help.
Cicely can be quite gullible at times, which when combined with her empathetic nature, can lead her to being fooled by those with ill-intentions.
Cicely can also be a bit of a perfectionist; she tends to be very hard on herself when she is unable to complete a task to her satisfaction and she has a bad habit of comparing her accomplishments (or lack there of) to the accomplishments of others.

✧ HISTORY .

Cicely woods is the only child of one kim jiwon, a woman who spent her childhood in poverty but enjoyed wealth in her adulthood, whether it came from her parents who had miraculously struck gold or the rich husband she had married. experiencing the upper class at a later stage of life bared every opportunity she had missed out on in her youth, and when her younger sister decided taking off would be better than allowing jiwon to dictate her life, she set her expectations onto the only child she bore from two marriages.

the result is Cicely, a girl who's life might as well not be her own.

raised to be everything she wasn't able to be, her mother has raised Cicely with a careful, watchful eye, and it wouldn't be far off to say that every decision cicely has made thus far has been orchestrated within an environment where her own word holds no weight. her freedom of choice extends to picking one out of three activities her mother had decided she should take up, her own interest nor energy a needless factor in the grander scheme of things.

it didn't quite bother her as much when she was younger, a girl who was more delighted than burdened to be able to try so many things. violin to art to dance, even creative writing classes or early tutoring: yuna did it all, and she did it well, even without the praise her mother seemed so stingy to give. but even she had her limits, and twice she "rebelled".

Her mother named her with an English name, as they moved to London later on.

The mother Kim Jiwon, a woman who was born into poverty, is the mother of the Woods family. She has a striking personality, although she may seem serene and gentle, her personality is fiery. As a young child, she never got her education and spent most of her days working to provide for her family. As she grew up, she met and married a wealthy man, inheriting his wealth and became very rich. As a mother, she was very strict to her daughter, fearing that she would turn out like herself when she was younger. She was very organised as well. She tried really hard to encourage her daughter to do things that were practical and organised yet her daughter didn’t share the same views with her, resulting into tension between the two.

ー OLIVER WOODS
The Stepfather Oliver woods is the stepfather of Cicely, he grew up at the rich side of the city, inheriting a great amount of wealth for his father. he soon married Kim Jiwon, a beautiful woman who he loved. As he grew up, he got a job which earned a decent amount of money. His job requires him to travel around the world for a long time. Oliver woods has a good relationship with Cicely, the two are similar, both with same personalities. Cicely warms up to Oliver more than Kim.
