Background Story
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
Fang Hui-Ying is Fang Hui-Ming's younger sister. Both her parents are muggles and have Chinese-English roots. Both her mother and father have successful careers in their respective fields, Mr. Fang is a financial consultant and Mrs. Fang is a senior lecturer at a college.

Fang Hui-Ying is one year younger then her brother. She had asthma since she was born. It’s a common disease that could be controlled and treated in London, but her parents knew about a famous doctor in China specialized in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and so Ying and her father moved there so she could receive treatment from him. Because Ying felt better there, than living in London, she lived in China with her father all her childhood. Her father also was involved in that country with muggle operations that made difficult for them to travel more often to London. Because of this she had grown closer to her father and had less contact with her mother and brother. Even so, with a busy life and a successful career Mr Fang had no much time to spend with his daughter and taking care of her special needs. Ying had always been taking care of and educated by her tutors and caretakers.

However, despite her illness, there was never any negligence or disregard in her upbringing and lectures. She had always been expected, like her brother, to attend to their parents demanding and rigorous expectations. She had the best tutors to help her through her difficulties and to teach her in the most important matters and subjects.

Ying and Ming grew up apart only communicating over phone calls and video calls... so they always felt lonely not having each other's company. This only changes at Hogwarts, when Hui-Ying is finally healed by the castle's powerful healing magic.

Her books and her piano were her best friends for as long as she could remember. They kept her company and brought joy and happiness to her young life. That's how she had passed her free time out of doctor's appointments and homeschooling.

When Ying was eight, she and her father traveled to London, for Christmas. She was feeling better and her father could also travel having no impediment at work. Ying was so happy to be at home that something happened! She was looking at the snow at the window and she wanted to be able to play outside with her brother even knowing her parents wouldn’t allow her. So she felt surprised when she felt something light and cold falling in her cheek. When she looked up, she realised it was snowing inside her house, little delicate snowflakes were falling down on her and her heart was filled with happiness and joy.
