Physical Description and Wardrobe: James is a half-Indian boy, standing at about 4'10. James is of rather average build for an twelve-year old, possibly on the skinnier side, with black curly hair that he prefers to keep natural (curly, wild, and unkempt), and brown eyes behind large, round glasses. His nose is small and button-ish, and he has a rather round face, having not lost his baby fat yet. When not in his Hogwarts Uniform, he tends to wear t-shirts and shorts or jeans. The shirts can range from his dad's old band shirts, graphic tees, to retro gaming shirts.
Mental Description: James has a bright, explosive personality, always quick with a joke or a comeback. He's rather loud, not knowing his own volume, but tries his best to reel it in sometimes. James also has a mischievous side, playing pranks and attempting to jinx other first years with incredibly little success. However, he's very loyal, not afraid to get in trouble to stand for what's right.
History/Background Story: James was born in Cobh, Ireland, to Imaara and Harold Flynn, two wizards of reasonably old money. For as long as James can remember, he and his parents lived in a rather large house, slightly secluded from the rest of the town. James was raised by Harold and Imaara, who gave the boy anything he wanted- with lessons that they were wealthy enough to afford it, and to not let it get to his head. James liked to play with the house-elves (which his parents paid; while they're rich, they aren't monsters), especially as a toddler and older. James had several instances of magic, but his first one is the story his parents told him time, time and time again. James had a fascination with animals as a toddler, magical and non-magical. His favorite set for years was a collection of wooden safari animals. While James was playing with them, he began to squeal in delight as his toy elephant clunkily wobbled across the floor. James grew up to be a bright young boy, full of energy and excitement. It was no surprise to James when he got his Hogwarts letter. His father had talked about his adventures at Hogwarts, so James nearly screamed with excitement when a tawny barn owl swooped in through the open window, landing in front of James. A new adventure begins for him, and he couldn't be more excited.

Imaara Flynn- Mother, 35, alive. A plump South-Indian woman standing at 5'4. Imaara is warm and caring, possibly even overbearing at times. She wants to make sure James is loved and cared for, overstepping her son's boundaries at times. Stay at home mum.
Harold Flynn- Father, 38, alive. A white, average height Irishman, standing at 5'8. While he can be slightly standoffish at times, he has a good heart and truly cares for his son, and would do anything for him. Potioneer at St. Mungo’s.
