CJ was born in the city of Manila, the Philippines to their muggle-born mother, Celia Luck (née Mills), and pureblood father, John Luck. Their parents moved back to London, England when CJ was three years old. Before Hogwarts, they attended Mill Gates Primary school and lived in a Terraced house. They inhabited it with their parents; Along with their siblings, Gabby Luck and Alfonso Luck, and their Lola (Grandma), Elen Luck.
At school, CJ is quiet and not engaging or social with other students. They did want to make friends, but approaching somebody out of the blue and conversing with them wasn't their thing. Sometimes the other children would tease CJ, for things that they thought were odd or strange about them. They didn't mind, nor care much, really. They didn't tell their parents either.
Growing up, CJ usually preferred to stay indoors and explore the forest a few blocks away from their house. They had one friend named Ann, who was able to talk to them.

CJ was 6 when it happened. They were crying about their injured knee from falling off their bike (again). They were heading to the kitchen to get a snack, caramels. They were CJ's favorite comfort food. They sneezed, and their body felt all light and bubbly for a few moments. (It was similar to standing up after sitting for a long time). They nearly fell down the stairs, but a loud crack! from the cupboard snapped them back to their senses. They limped over to the cupboard and opened it. Seven mugs were found to be cracked and shattered. Once their parents found out, they were, at first, shocked and angry that CJ broke things (again. This happens often.). They gave CJ a lengthy lecture until their mother realized it was magic. Their sister was enthralled by this.

When CJ was younger, they feared the dark; It made them feel wimpish and timid. Asking their Father to help dispel their fear didn't help when he teased them instead. He spoke of a cloak-like creature- named a Lethifold -who would consume and suffocate you as you slept. As they aged, they soon realized it wasn't the dark they feared, but what was within it. They stopped fearing the dark, yet they still feared the Lethifold. Imagining it just waiting hungrily to consume them in their sleep keeps them up at night.

CJ is 5 '1, tan, with a slim, gangly body type. They have brown irises but wear eye contacts to make them appear yellow. Their black hair is cut similar to a wolf cut, but shorter at the sides. It's dyed purple at the back and a few strands at the front. Their face is a mix of an oval and triangle shape. Their eyebrows are upward and a bit rounded, and their lips are thin. Their nose is short and wavy with a dorsal bump and a straight base. They have slim arms and legs, with little hairs on the base of their fingers and black nail polish on their nails.
