Nico Cirillo - Slytherin - Second Year

Pre-Hogwarts: Nico is the only child in his family, which only contains his mother, Karen, and himself. Nico's father, Theodore, died when the hotel he was staying in for a business trip collapsed, Nico was only eight years old at the time. His mother is quite well known in both the muggle and wizarding world, for her musical and magical talent. Nico attended a private school for the rich, snobby, spoiled kids. But just because his parents were rich doesn't mean he was spoiled and bratty, like the rest of the kids. He never asked for much, generally kept to himself, only speaking when he wanted to, and avoided making friends. All of which made him an easy target for bullies, and also their favorite target. Nico did have a friend once, her name was Jane, but when they were nine, she stopped talking to Nico and left him alone, while she went off with her new friends from her new school. When Nico lived at home with his mom, his favorite pastime was to spend hours in his dad's old study. It had so many undiscovered secrets in it, and so many books Nico hadn't read, or couldn't read. His dad's passion was Ancient Greece, which would explain why many of the books in his study were written in Greek.

First Instance Of Magic: Nico's first sign that he was a wizard happened when he was just five years old. It was Christmas morning and being a little kid, he jumped out of his bed and ran down two flights of stairs. But on the third, Nico tripped and fell. He screamed as he went tumbling down the stairs, but on the ninth step, he stopped falling and floated in midair. It was like the air had turned into jello, and was holding him in place, unable to move. When his parents arrived, they removed him from the "jello air," and checked to see if he was hurt. Surprisingly, Nico had no signs of any injuries. His mother knew what had happened, but his father was still in shock, so she explained to Nico that he was now just like them.

Appearance: Nico naturally has light blonde hair, but he hates it and it clashes with his eyes, so he dyes it dark brown, basically black. He has pale freckled skin and dark brown eyes. The only clothes he wears are black, dark grey, and even darker grey, along with a silver chain necklace that belonged to his great-grandfather, grandfather, and father.

First-Years and Second-Years may not enter Hogsmeade. You may not duel outside of dueling club. You may not be outside of your commons rooms after 10:00 pm 8:00 pm without permission. You may not be outside of your dorm rooms after 10:00 pm without permission. You may not be outside of your commons rooms before 6:00 am 7:00 am without permission. Students may not enter the Forbidden Forest without permission from professors. Students may not swim in the lake without staff supervision. Students must wear their school uniform during school hours unless common clothes are permitted by a professor. There will be no eating or drinking in the library under any circumstances. No damage to school property. No unauthorized pets or creatures allowed, or a second pet. No weapons (other than your wand) on your person at any time. No attempting to injuring yourself or to injure others. No copying homework or cheating on exams. (OWLS / NEWTS) No racist, sexist, homophobic remarks or insults - including the use of "mudblood" No usage of Broomsticks outside of the Quidditch Pitch. No drinking on the school grounds. No drugs on school grounds. No going into other gender's dormitory areas.
