Features
Like the rest of his family, Leo has dark hair and eyes and somewhat tanned skin. Unlike his family however, his appearance is less angular and more soft. He has a gently rounded face and a well proportioned figure. Owing to his steady diet of home-grown vegetables all his life, he has the cherubic softness and muscularity of a greek statue, with a gentle curvature just barely covering the lean muscle.
His appearance has led him to previously being mistaken for some form of half-breed (Namely half-veela and half-siren), but his good looks are owed only to his healthy diet, good genetics and an excellent moisturising routine.
Style
Leo has a recognisable and stylish fashion sense that could easily be picked out in a crowd. He favours lightweight fabrics, particularly those with ornamentation and embroidery. Generally he prefers neutral colours on himself, but he'd never be so gauche as to rule out an article of clothing simply because it didn't go with his usual palette.
Additionally, Leo will occasionally add the odd bit of make-up to add to his ethereal look, though he tries not to let it overshadow the outfit. The odd bit of glitter under the eye, a rhinestone or some other appliqué affixed to his face somewhere, etc.

Leo Del Mar was born on the 16th of August 2010 in Toledo, Spain to Emilio and Isabella. His muggle father Emilio is an expert gardener and Isabella is a witch, and an accomplished Herbologist in her own right, with the pair bonding over their love of nature. The pair shared this passion with their three children. Samuel, the eldest, is still in training to be a wandmaker, while Maria works in an apothecary in Spain. Both are older than Leo, and the three have great familial relationships. It is unknown the reason for this, but neither Emilio or Isabella are close to their own parents, and Leo has always respected his parents right to privacy in this matter. After all, he would hate for someone to bring up a painful memory about his parents, though in Leo's case there aren't many bad memories with his family. Both of his parents split caregiving evenly with one another and gave each of their children a welcome amount of attention and respect, which their children reciprocated.
The Del Mar household is very close-knit, with strong ties to their community in Toledo despite being isolated on their farmstead. The family would often sell their home-grown produce on the market in their neighbourhood, much to the chagrin of the other sellers. The family manage to strike a good balance between the use of magic to aid in their business practices and keeping a fair balance so that they are not "Cheating" the system so to speak.
All five of the Del Mar's speak fluent Spanish, excellent English and some rudimentary Welsh because of the cottage they own in Northern Wales. The family would often spend summers there when they didn't want to deal with the punishing Spanish summer heat. It was during one of these holidays when Leo first displayed his magic by sprouting a field of daisies in a surge of joy after being able to pick a fruit that had previously been inaccessible to him. Upon his acceptance to Hogwarts, Isabella and Emilio will be spending their forthcoming summers at the Cottage to allow their son to continue his study at the renowned school.
While Leo enjoyed growing up in such a warm household, since receiving his acceptance letter to Hogwarts his independent streak has started to grow, and while they are happy about Leo's emotional development, it is hard for his parents to see their youngest child leaving the nest.
