LOCKE GREY
↪"Locke, Finley's mother, was blessed with the ability to stay at home with her daughter to raise her. While it wasn't her first career choice, she found the work greatly rewarding and is happy she did it. Finley loves her mother deeply and enjoys spending time with her. Finley loves Charlie like the brother she never had and misses him deeply during her time at Hogwarts. She writes to him weekly and longs to be back from school for the summer so she can spend time with Charlie and her other friends"

Once she was old enough to start kindergarten, her parents enrolled her in a kindergarten near where they lived, and with tears in her eyes, she went. Once she got there, however, she quickly made friends and enjoyed schooling. Out of all the people she met in kindergarten, her closest friend was a boy named Charlie. Upon first meeting, the two instantly clicked, soon becoming partners in crime their parents would say. While they never attempted to get into trouble, it somehow always seemed to find them. Minor things like missing a curfew or talking too much in class were all quickly brushed off as just child things. Charlie and Finley stayed extremely close friends throughout their primary schooling years, helping each other through hard subjects, spending the holidays at the other's houses, and spending almost every waking moment together.
When Finely was eight her parents surprised her with the ability to adopt a dog from a nearby shelter. This was after begging for a dog for the majority of the last four years so she was ecstatic. Despite being purebloods, her parents had made it a priority to not expose her to magic until she herself used it accidentally or got a letter from Hogwarts. So, when a lightbulb suddenly burst in the next room, she was terrified. Her parents sat her down and explained everything to her, though carefully left out the part about going to a magic school when she was older in case she never received a letter. After everything was sorted out, she was taken to the shelter and picked out an older rescue dog by the name of Bones who has since been by her side as a loyal and loving companion to everyone in the family.
On her 11th birthday, Finley received her letter to Hogwarts. Yet again her parents had to sit her down and explain things, this time including the school and Finley became extremely excited about attending. She learned that both of her parents, along with most members of the family were in the house called Slytherin and while she wanted to follow in her family's footsteps and join the same house, she was just happy to attend.
