CASSIDY FRASER | first year ravenclaw
. INTRODUCTION .
Cassidy sports dirty blonde wavy hair which is thick yet fluffy down to her shoulders, often worn down and swept to her right. She has a love hate relationship with her hair; it looks like the sun wove the strands with sunlight and often smells of nutty almond, but she curses it for how long it takes to dry and brush, which is why she chopped it off just below her shoulders.
Her face is rounder and slim, skin pale due to the lack of good weather in Scotland. Her lips have soaked up all the redness in her face, making them thinner and crimson; as if they're plastered with rose petals. To replace the lack of colour, her cheeks and nose are dusted with light freckles faint enough they could only be noticed if you were searching for them.
Cassidy's nose takes up little room and is quite short and slightly down turned, It gives her a younger look. Her cheeks aren't full, but they're not shallow either. Somewhere inbetween. Her eyes are round with short yet abundant lashes on the lids and dull blue irises that reflect the cloudy skies of Scotland in between. Her brows are blonde and thin, barely noticeable on her face.
Cassidy loves uniforms, as it makes everything organized. However, when she can't be in a uniform, she'll normally wear black or blue skinny jeans with simplistic jumpers or tops which will have a repetitive pattern at most.

Cassidy is a perfectionist, there's no doubt about it. Even the simplest tasks need to shine with perfection, it's go big or go home in her mind. This trait can produce amazing work, at the cost of her time. Whatever she does takes twice as long as her peers, which leads to rushing to finish and imperfection. Cassidy wants to constantly improve herself through knowledge and expanding her skillset to become the perfect version of herself. Her thirst for learning is her main motivator in whatever she does.
Cassidy is sacracstic and quick thinking when she needs to be. Her humor is dark with sarcasm which may not appeal to many people. It can often be mistaken for disrespect, leading to frustration.
Cassidy has a plan for everything, and a plan b for everything. She prefers to plan for the future rather than live in the present, and is often overthinking about possibilities with the tiniest chance of coming true. To her, everything could have a different meaning or another path. While this can produce brilliant plans and boost her creativity, it can also lead to unnecessary stress on her behalf.
Cassidy is a stubborn girl and hates when things don't go how she wants them to. Changing her mind on something she's already made up her mind on is almost impossible. While this can come out as determination to do the right thing, it can easily turn into refusing to do something the better way.HISTORYReducioCassidy was born at 2208 on April 9, 2021 to Donna Gray, a muggle hairdresser and Michael Fraser who worked at a muggle office job. Both names weren't that well-known in the wizarding world. Gray, although a Scottish wizarding family, had formed a minority in Ireland when a wizard travelled to the smaller island somewhere in the obscure past. The Fraser name had once produced a fine witch, Cassidy's Great Auntie Alice, who specialized in animagi and trained to become one for many years, but Michael unfortunately wouldn't continue this legacy as he was born a squib. His family still held him dearly despite this and apparated to the hospital where Cassidy had been born as soon as they could. Donna's family weren't uninterested in her new life; they were a very busy couple and rarely found time to visit. As a result, Cassidy would remember her father's family much more than her mother's.
Cassidy's parents married in Cumnock two months after her birth and settled in a decently sized Victorian house on the outskirts of the town where their child and future children would be able to grow up around the outdoors. There were many cycling paths nearby and a large back garden consisting of mainly grass and a few trees which Cassidy would learn to love in her later years. Her mum decided to quit her job and become a stay-at-home-mum so their children would receive enough love and discipline to grow into fine people.
When Cassidy was one, coming close to two on March 27 2012 Scarlett Fraser was born and brought home a few days later. Cassidy didn't remember her sister's infant years very well, but her mum told her she didn't interact with her younger sister a lot for a couple years. She preferred to stick to her colourful crayon drawings or hearing her mother's stories of Quiddich and magic.
On December 27 2014 Flynn Fraser, Cassidy's final sibling, was born. Since she was a little older, she played with Flynn for a while before becoming bored as all he would do was cry, stare blankly at her or sleep for hours on end — not very interesting to a four year old. Scarlett wasn't providing much entertainment at the tender age of two either, so Cassidy took to picture books to entertain herself until she attended nursery when she was five. Cassidy wasn't the ideal nursery student: she didn't make many close connections, she didn't like to share and she didn't seem very interested in attending. In her spare time, she took up learning how to cycle with her dad until she managed to balance herself without assistance at 7.
After a year at nursery, Cassidy attended a primary school near Cumnock. She was nervous on her first day as she hadn't made any friends in nursery like some of the kids. After a few weeks she grew closer to three kids who became the small circle she would have her entire childhood up until Hogwarts. Cassidy was very close to her friends and they all seemed inseparable. She did well in school, working hard and earning good scores on tests — teachers grew fond of her. She also took up reading and writing at her time in school and learned to love it. She devoured every book in the house by 8 and ate up all the paper in the house with her vigorous pencil.
At the age of eight, Cassidy performed her first instance of accidental wand less magic, the day she was destined to attend Hogwarts. It was after a long school day which even she didn't enjoy and she wasn't in a cheery mood. Her brother, 4 at the time, had came up and repeatedly asked her to open a packet of crisps for him, despite her continuous attempts to wave him off. After about a minute of this, her anger got the better of her and she popped the bag with her magic, sending crisps everywhere and causing Flynn to run off in a fit of tears. Her parents recognized this as magic after her persistence that she didn't touch the packet and were overjoyed that Cassidy was a witch. She received her Hogwarts acceptance letter by owl three years later and began her journey as a witch as soon as she stepped onto the Hogwarts Express.

The Western wand-purchaser should dispel from their minds any notion that the pink blossom of the living tree made for a frivolous or merely ornamental wand, for cherry wood often made a wand that possessed truly lethal power, whatever the core — though if paired with dragon heartstring, the wand ought never to be teamed with a wizard without exceptional self-control and strength of mind.
The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.
