History/Background Story: Finnley Peters was born on the 16th of October, 2008, on an uncharacteristically sunny day in Surrey, London. His parents, a Muggle man named Frederick, and a Pureblood Witch named Diane (née Abernathy) took this as a sign of good fortune.

Growing up a half-blood, Finnley has always had one foot in the Muggle world, one in the Wizarding world. He spent his early days watching Muggle cartoons and anime with his dad and watching his mom perform amazing magical feats. When his two younger siblings, twins Jessie and James, were born, Finnley was ecstatic! Never liking to be alone, Finnley has always been more than happy to share his space with his siblings. Although fighting for his parent's attention has made him a bit of an attention seeker.

His mother has always feared his rejection from Muggle society, while his father has always feared his rejection from Wizard society. These worries have resulted in them being somewhat overprotective.

Finnley grew up attending a Muggle public school but had to be taken out when his magic started manifesting. He only ever made one friend there, Bea, who he's since been forced to drop out of contact with for fear of her finding out about his magical lineage.

Finnley first accidentally used wandless magic at age 6. A new girl, later to be his first and only friend of the time Bea, had just enrolled at his school. She didn't get along with any of the other kids, so Finnley made it his mission to befriend her. That first day during playtime, he noticed her sitting by herself in the grass. Wanting to cheer her up, he picked a bunch of dandelions and brought them to her. Finally getting her to laugh and smile, Finnley felt so happy he accidentally made new dandelions grow in the surrounding grass.
