He grew up normally, or at least, normal for a wizard. Of course, no one knew if he was an actual wizard, a Muggle, or perhaps a Squib yet, but we all hope for the best, don't we? Life with the grumpy old aunt was fine. It was as fine as fine can be. Sure, it was a little annoying, and could surely piss a kid off, but it was fine. Life was pretty much the same every day, but Kage didn't complain. He liked Japan. And, as he had liked to think, Japan liked him. Until his aunt died. The first night. Kage had hated London. He hated it. Japan was so much better. He’d woken up. Drowning. In the sheets on the tiny cot. The dirty sheets. The dirty group home. There was no sound except for the creaking of the cot and the rustling of the sheets. The heavy breathing. Sinking into the ground. The earth. In his mind’s eye, very clearly, he saw his aunt. Lifeless eyes staring at the ground. Skin like porcelain. Dead. All dead. He had been transferred from Japan to the tiny group home, where his mother would pick him up a few days later, after all the necessary paperwork was completed. After the first night. Suzuki was brought- no, shipped, to his mother's house to live. His mother's house wasn't a house. It was more a mausoleum, a massive hulking house in the richer area of London. So his mother raised him. It wasn't bad, it just was a little... Weird. Usually, your parents' (or, parent, in this case) personalities should be similar to yours, right? Well not for Kage. Kage's mother, Emi Suzuki, is a Hufflepuff and is pretty much the polar opposite of Kage. She's always laughing, smiling, and joking around. Kage inherited absolutely none of his mother's physical or mental traits. Despite them having a decent relationship, Kage's mother is almost always away at work, leaving Kage at a friend's house or alone, leading to Kage being closed off to most around her. During Kage's third year, his mother fell incredibly ill from the stress of her work and he decided to take the year off to take care of her and continue his schooling the next year. Unlike most kids, he wasn't too happy about missing a year of school, but his mother was his only family in England, and well, you gotta do what you gotta do. Thanks to his and a close family friend's work, his mother was able to make a slow but steady recovery and by the end of his third year (or what should've been his third year), had made a full recovery. code credits │ lucia fox==

Personality Reducio Since his early childhood, Kage was very independent and self-confident. He was very perceptive and intuitive, quickly realizing the situation for what it was. Kage typically has a relaxed and almost bored attitude, not prone to getting too worked up about anything or by anyone. In truth, Kage is rather a solitary and matter-of-fact person. Kage is still just as apathetic as he was during his youth, often speaking bluntly about sensitive topics. He is alone for most of his spare time. Normally, he focuses on his studies. He doesn't socialize willingly, but he will if he finds someone he deems fit or if he must. However, if you want someone to listen to you, Kage is always there.

Kage extremely likes playing what Muggles call a 'violin', and has taken classes before in the past. He's surprisingly good at playing the violin.
