cinnamon salem was born in america in new york city, and at the age of ten, her parents moved to london, thus the fact that she wasn’t eligible for ilvermorny at the age of eleven. they had moved there after she had exploded a glass, thinking that the place they were living in was haunted.
she had two muggle parents and no siblings, so she lived a mostly secluded life, teaching herself how to do most things from a young age, such as how to read and how to code. she always felt like she had to be the best at everything, or else she would suffer consequences, and often pushed herself academically, but publicly dissed gym class.
her life was mostly normal, however, and she lived her life up until her letter believing that she was a normal person.
