Outbursts of anger are not uncommon for the pampered heir who can be equally as frigid and cutting as the daggers shot from his glare. Despite having underlying abandonment issues that he refuses to address, Hiram actively pushes anyone away who tries to dig beneath the grimy layers the abrasive front he puts up. His blunt honesty is both a blessing and a curse and though he means no ill will, no one is safe from his cutting remarks. In spite of having a very orthodox childhood, Hiram has a rebellious spirit and is argumentative towards any authority that threatens his independence and shove him in a tiny box of conventionality. -ationships. The patient few who see a vulnerable, insecure boy beneath many layers of pre-teenage angst, misplaced anger, and ambition are held dear to Hiram. The boundaries that Hiram sets for himself are hardly ever crossed, especially when it comes to personal matters. Ironically, he seems to leap over the boundaries of others’, becoming an overbearing and often unwelcomed presence in the personal lives of the unfortunate souls who let him in. For all his flaws, there are a few qualities that redeem his corrosive nature. Never one to invest in fanciful dreams, Hiram is pragmatic and is usually three steps ahead of trouble. As stubborn as he may be, Hiram truly has others’ best interests at heart, though the way he executes those interests may not be viewed in a positive light. . ──────────────────── .WANT . TO .FORGET ──────────────────── he has no qualms playing the role of an antagonist where one is needed, he rises as a hero on occasion. Hiram understands that he cannot please everyone and does not spend his energy doing so but will invest in relationships that are dear to him. A reluctant brotherly figure, his shoulder is a sturdy place for a weary head to rest upon, though not without an empty protest first. Though he lacks the confidence to display his deeper emotions, Hiram admires the quality in others who do. In time, he will learn to channel his emotions, but for now, they rise to the surface as chaotic floods bent on destruction as a form of misplaced relief. Flawed as a poorly cut jewel, Hiram has many facets of his personality to improve before he can . reflect .. his .. passionate . nature.
