APPEARANCE

Eliseo has dark brown hair generally shaved on the sides with some length on the top. But it tends to be covered by a flat cap that gives perpetual hat hair. Despite having constant grime and dirt from his job coating him, Eliseo tends to always dress with some level of professionalism that looks perhaps curious in his station. He is frequently found in dark suits or dress clothing even when he might be working in the midst of a rainstorm. He has somewhat sullen blue eyes placed into his sharp face. His tendency to quietly stare at others can portray an unintentional ice that he doesn't mean to portray. While being somewhat heavily scarred and tattooed over her torso and arms, the layers of clothing he wears covers all of this from the masses.

Eliseo can have a serious demeanor and but he quickly warms to any who seek him out or show respect to the beloved grounds of the school. He smiles most while enjoying the comforts of horrendously spicy food.

Despite Eliseo's rather cold looking demeanor, he is actually very fond of being around others and offering his help. Growing up around many others and in a family determined to help others, Eliseo is always looking for chances to lend a hand to those who seem like they have strayed from their path. Just because Eliseo likes to help, doesn't necessarily mean he is always good at it. The man loves to give out advice but the advice may be so muddled in symbolism or metaphor that it ends up just sounding like a random string of words. Seeking advice or help from Eliseo is a bit of a coin toss. Some may be illuminated while others may walk away more confused than they have ever been in their life.

Despite finding himself in a position of significant responsibility, Eliseo has a deep love for intelligent mischief. While he does his best to control his own impulses to cause chaos, he does have a fondness for witnessing the creative chaos brought on by others. The man does take his position and any given responsibility very seriously, however. So seriously that, at times, it may seem that he hyper focuses on seemingly minute things with extreme scrutiny. Humoring his temporary obsessions is a good way to remain fixed on Eliseo's good side.

While it might take a short bit for Eliseo to develop stronger bonds with those around him and his tendency to become highly distracted with his duties may detract. But persistence and good food is the surest way to earn the man's unyielding trust. As long as people aren't destroying the regal grounds, Eliseo will remain openly friendly though he might be more likely to grumble at passing students than actually say hello. But they should be thought of as grumbles of fondness.

HISTORY

Born in Juárez, México to a mother of Welsh descent and a Hispanic father, Eliseo had a rather unconventional childhood. His mother was a witch educated at the well-renowned school of Hogwarts while his father was a self-educated humanitarian who worked throughout Central and South America. Eliseo’s parents met while both working in the Peruvian Amazon outside the city of Iquitos. Despite coming from different worlds, their shared passion for improving the lives of others quickly bonded them. After a number of years traveling for work, Eliseo’s parents finally settled back in México.

By the time Eliseo was born, the work of his parents had slowed some but they remained fiercely determined to improve the lives of those around them. While this sense of selflessness would invariably imprint itself on Eliseo, the young child was more interested in spreading an unrivaled and uncontained level of chaotic destruction. Imagining himself as a knight of sorts, the young Eliseo could be often found wielding a stick to engage in fearsome battles against the furniture and walls of his small home. While his parents loved the creativity of their child, they looked less fondly upon his endless destruction. However, by age 5, Eliseo had a younger sister who began to encapsulate much of his parent’s attention.

This was much to the young boy’s delight as it allowed him to find an ever-abundant array of mischief to get in. Around the age of seven, Eliseo’s family began to travel again to feed his parents’ passion for humanitarianism. Generally finding themselves in some foreign rainforest, Eliseo developed a keen passion for exploration and wildlife. While he wasn’t the best explorer and maintains a poor sense of direction, Eliseo quickly fell in love with his long forays into the wilds where his mind could wander untethered by watchful eyes.

In the Yucatan at age nine, Eliseo had his first instance of magical ability while beside a river with his mother. Startled by the sudden call of a nearby howler monkey, the papaya in Eliseo's hand erupted into a gooey mess. While perhaps more terrified by the exploding papaya, Eliseo was more sad that now his snack was covering the entirety of his body. But the instance told his mother, much to her excitement, that he shared her propensity for magic. While his father had anticipated that their children may inherit the magical abilities, he understood very little about what to expect from a growing family of magically inclined.

Shortly after the incident, Eliseo’s family relocated to a semi-permanent home in São Paulo, Brazil. While his mother had initially hoped her some would similarly be educated at Hogwarts, they decided it would be unlikely as he had never even been to the Isles. Eliseo’s eventual acceptance and arrival to his school of Castelobruxo would truly begin one of the most important chapters of the young wizard’s life.

By all accounts, Eliseo had a natural talent and a considerable intellect that took some time to truly reveal itself. Initially a poor student, Eliseo found his mind more enthralled by thoughts of travel, exploration, and discovery than anything he could find in his schooling. However, in time the boy found a balance between the two as he developed a fondness for herbology, magizoology, and potionmaking. While still not pushing himself to his limits, Eliseo began to improve as a student towards the middle of his educational journey.

The boy’s cunning and sarcastic nature found him as a frequent recipient of punishment that would only begin to subside in his final year. Despite Eliseo’s love of chaotic mischief, his life of watching his parents help others had rubbed off on him. As he matured, he took it upon himself to help those around him as best he could and learned to turn off his malevolence when someone was seeking true guidance.

Once he had graduated, the still relatively young Eliseo remained somewhat estranged from a larger purpose. In those early years, post-graduation, Eliseo found himself as more a wandering sage than anything actually substantial. He had the passion and desire to help others, but his ever racing mind kept him from settling down long enough to begin to truly develop. To avoid the rising stress that came with a lack of purpose, Eliseo would frequently disappear into the Yucatan or Amazon for months at a time. While this did little to temper the young man’s wanderlust or growing need for a purpose, it did solidify his attachment to the wilds and natural life.

While he had connections throughout Central and South America that held him in decent regards, Eliseo made the decision that he would never be satisfied if he remained wandering and meandering endlessly. In a somewhat sudden decision, Eliseo decided he would travel to the British Isles to learn more about the other half of his heritage and perhaps settle down for a time to further understand how he would be able to help others.

PLOTTING AND INTERACTIONS

Eliseo is always open to anyone who would like to have a marvelous RP with anyone who may be interest. He isn't as scary as he looks and would be happy to be your sage on the path to glory. There are few people more qualified to lead you through a meadow while in a mule deer costume. So should you ever find yourself in need of someone to talk to or to confuse your mortal mind. Feel free to come bang on the door of my cabin or throw a slightly soggy bit of mail at me.
