Aimee is the kind of person that everyone can't help but like. She's very friendly, empathetic, and supportive and never ceases to make people laugh. She's super optimistic and funny, and she never seems tired. It's like she has a bottomless pit of energy. Her head is often in the clouds, so she is a terrible student but makes up for it with her enthusiasm. Aimee loves every color, but is especially fond of light purples and bright, sunshine-y yellows. Aimee Dubois was born in Paris, France, in 2009, to a happy muggle family. She has never met her father, but loves her mom, Camille, her older sister, Valerie, and her older brother, Lucas (both of whom are in high school). They live in a large apartment in a flamboyant, busy neighborhood filled with color and life. The whole family loves animals, so they have two cats, Mona and Lisa. Mona is white, and pretty much just sleeps all the time, but Lisa is sleek and black and loves playing with everything, from the sheer white curtains on the living room windows to leaves fluttering to the ground outside. Aimee's mom is a lawyer, and Aimee's brother and sister inherited her stubborn streak, but Aimee is more laid back. She has always been the baby of the family, and while her mom does not spoil her, her older siblings do. She isn't exactly used to getting whatever she wants, but she definitely has privileges.
At a very young age, Aimee discovered her love for the stage. Over the years, she has attended countless singing, acting, and dancing camps and classes, loving each and every one and often making many friends along the way. While she loves acting and singing, her favorite is dancing. She does ballet, jazz, and modern and has a knack for mastering the difficult moves. Her small purple bedroom is filled with music and dance posters, CD cases, leotards, and ballet shoes.
She has a ton of friends, but only three really close ones; Charlotte, Margot, and Zara. They do everything together and have known each other since they were in diapers. At school, Aimee's report cards usually say the same thing; 'Aimee is a very bright, sweet, energetic child, but she needs to apply herself to her studies more.' This has never bothered Aimee, but it does bother her mom.
When she was ten, her family traveled to the outskirts of France for a couple weeks during summer vacation. They stayed in a charming, rustic cottage that overlooked a peaceful lake. The trip started out smoothly, but on the third day, something quite peculiar happened. Aimee was writing a postcard to her Grandmother, and the pen in her hand briefly turned into a feather. It was only for a few seconds, five at most, but it was still shocking. She had never experienced magic before. She hadn't even known in was real. But it was, and a little over a year later, she was attending Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. She was sorted into Papillonlisse, and though she was happy, she didn't quite feel like she belonged at Beauxbatons. Eventually, though, she adapted and made friends. She still struggles with school, but she gets by (barely).
