A young girl with red hair and a freckled face, Edna is the child of a wizard and a normal woman. She was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. As an only child, she often had her parent’s undivided attention. Her mother was a secretary for the First Minister of Scotland’s office. Her father was a Ministry of Magic worker who worked as an Auror. Edna had a fairly normal childhood. She was raised as a muggle with some small magical items around her home. The girl never really asked or wondered about them, just seeing them as normal. They were always small trinkets to help with chores, like a scrubber charmed to scrub on its own or a door charmed to open and close without being touched.

Edna’s first taste of her own magic came when she was eight, the girl accidentally made a daisy in her mom’s garden grow as big as she was! Her mother was concerned, but her father was proud- even taking a picture. This was the first time Edna learned that magic wasn’t the normal thing. Her parents explained that not everyone could do magic. So, as much as Edna wanted to show her friends at school the beautiful daisy she grew, she couldn’t. Because it was a secret.

So, Edna spent the rest of her school years before getting her acceptance letter constantly spinning her wheels. She wanted to learn more about magic! But her ma and pa said she had to wait. So, she did. Now that she has her letter though, Edna is so excited! She's always been an excitable girl, but this is a whole new adventure for her! Her father's never been too big on using magic in the house due to them living in a muggle city, but because they did have some charmed items around the house, Edna could never bring friends home to play. As a result, the girl was always a bit awkward around her muggle friends. Edna is excited to be able to make friends who she can be completely honest with!
