CHARACTERISTICS

The first thing you'll notice about Scarlett is her very wild and very red curly hair. It frames her face like a lion's mane, and is often the first thing people notice about her. Her hair goes down to her mid-back, and she often lets it down nowadays. Scarlett also has dark-brown eyes that convey most of her emotions. They are really quite striking though they make it hard for her to tell lies. Scarlett looks scrawny and short, but can pack a literal punch what with the Beater training she's been doing with her partner Griseldis. As well as this, she has a tricky little smile - correction: smirk - that immediately screams 'danger!' to any respectable adult. Scarlett prefers to dress in clothes that are practical and comfortable, though won't say no to a bit of sparkle.

reputation Reducio People know Scarlett as somewhat of a reckless troublemaker. A side character, playing into people's lives as a friend, a rival or a mischief-maker. She was known for setting up numerous practical jokes up in the castle and fighting Anastasia Beckett in the hallways. Scarlett keeps quiet about the more important bits about her personal life, so to many people, she lives an ordinary life and loves to wreak havoc. Rather popular in some circles, she is known by the general population of Hogwarts and ocassionally well-liked (though more commonly not)

gossip and rumours Reducio Scarlett doesn't care about any gossip surrounding her, though she loves to spread it, as shown by her fight with Anastasia. There was that one time when she disappeared for a day, but no one really cares about that except her friends. There are also rumours in the pure-blood circles that her family is getting back together. Finally, there is some gossip about how she was captured by the mermaids in the Great Lake for spending too much time there in that day when she was gone, and that she became part of their cult. That rumour may or may not have been started by Scarlett herself.

Being sorted into Gryffindor only strengthened her core trait - bravery. Scarlett is a courageous person in general, never afraid to wander into tricky situations and fights. Her daring can get the better of her, leading her to do reckless things in order to prove herself. She can be impulsive, never thinking before rushing into action with the belief 'do now, think later'. She winds up in trouble because of this, but has the courage to stand up for herself and her causes.

Scarlett is a short-tempered person, her anger overcoming her. Usually, when this happens, she finds that the Great Lake gives her some solace. Scarlett is working on trying not to take out her anger physically and instead letting it dissolve out of her. Sometimes that fails and she often finds herself punching something or someone and ending up hurt and bloody.

However, Scarlett isn't all aggressive and reckless. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and generally wants to help people. She can be compassionate when she wants to and has good morals, all in all. Even though she may not be the most trusting, once you've gained it, she would go to the ends of the earth to protect you. And she is rather funny, in a sarcastic way.

She can also be wildly unpredictable - one moment being polite and civil and using her, how shocking, manners, the next moment screaming, swearing like a sailor and attempting to tear someone's hair out and punch them in the eye. It was all a matter of balance; if you did nothing wrong to her, she would treat you normally. If you upset her she would snap at you. If you angered her she would probably try and start up a riot and fight you in public.

Growing up in a relaxed household, Scarlett has trouble keeping up with the aristocratic purebloods of the new world she was thrust into as a result of her mother and father reconvening with her. She acts like a typical thirteen-year-old with her light-hearted manner, her jokes, her general demeanour. She isn't afraid to act immature though can feel insecure around the formal witches and wizards around her at the fancy balls and galas. Scarlett just wants to have fun and be free.

All in all, Scarlett is a good person. She jokes around, throws herself into dangerous situations and tries her best in things she likes.

RESIDENCY ˎˊ- scarlett has lived in quite a few places during her life, and there are still more to be discovered...

willowby cottage By far Scarlett's favourite. She moved here when she was seven after her parents couldn't take care of her anymore. It is located right in the centre of Godric's Hollow, and is a rather average family home, only slightly lavish due to Fiona's high-paid job as an Auror. Easily acessible and the only house she's ever been in that felt like home.

marigold villa Scarlett no longer likes this pretty, picture-perfect house of her childhood. Her first home, she has since abandoned it after her drama with her parents. It was constructed when her mother - Evelyn - didn't want to live near the town centre, due to its noise, chaos and Muggles. The house is large and beautiful with numerous furnished rooms and an Instagram-worthy garden.

fulton manor Rather like the headquarters of the entire Fulton family - which, admittedly, have a strong bond - Scarlett has visited here in her childhood, but never remembered. Her mother will take her there soon to meet her relatives on the Fulton side of the family. The manor is large and stately with an acre of garden and, of course, the dining room, the family's speciality, their main piece of the manor. The living room is massive, with old portraits hanging on the wall, giving the feel like you're being watched constantly.

aden manor Levius and Fiona aren't eager to bring Scarlett here due to their traumatic experiences in the manor as children. It is ancient and creaky, giving off a rather gothic effect due to Scarlett's grandfather's tastes. He used to encourage Levius and Fiona as children to explore the place, to test their bravery and improve their courage. It did work, to be honest.

hi everyone you might have all noticed that i've been wayy less active on site, and i'm starting to leave some of my positions on site as well. this is because i'm gradually building up to deactivating my account i've had a recent incentive to focus on real life and schoolwork more, especially with the new flurry of homework to prepare us for exams, and whilst i had plenty of time for h.io in the summer, i just don't now.

it's quite heartbreaking to leave, especially since i've been here for more than a year now, but an inactive account won't do any good. who knows, maybe i might even return as a new character! but whatever the future holds in store for me, i'll always remember the memories i've made on here. this site was my haven, and my main source of entertainment during the lockdown. i've made so many friends and learnt so much about writing and coding and aesthetics and character crafting. it's been a wild ride and i've loved every second of it, but it's time for me to take my leave
