History/Background Story: Rhian grew up in Cardiff, Wales, with her parents. Both of them are wizards and she showed her magic abilities early. Despite that, she went to a local primary school and made a lot of friends, who thought her a little odd at times, but were willing to look over the fact that little Rhian was different.

Her parents were always loving but not overbearing, so she had a calm and happy childhood. Of course it wasn't easy to keep the magical secret from her friends, and she did not like doing it, but understood the necessity. By the time Rhians letter of acceptance came, she was happy to go to Hogwarts and meet a bunch of new people who would be just as strange and different as she was.
