Beech Wood wands belong to those that are wise beyond their years at the time of the wand choosing them. Once the owner reaches adulthood, they are typically wise and experienced by that point, possessing a sort of unseen knowledge that the wand is drawn to. When sorted to the witch or wizard correctly, Beech Wood wands perform beautifully and artistically, in a way that other wands would not.

Unicorn Hair is said to produce the most consistent magic, and rarely sees fluctuation in performance. Wands with Unicorn Hair are rather difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. These wands are faithful, and stay strongly attached to their first owner. These wands do not produce the strongest magic, and the hair may "die" if mishandled.

For a girl of Alexx's demeanor, she certainly looks the way that she acts. Small and rage-driven, you would not be surprised that Alexx is capable of looking the part. While her Lovely Creature ability certainly plays a major role, making Alexx naturally beautiful, there is something else that leaves those around her wondering how it was that she was so perfectly constructed.

Alexx stands at 5'1", rather short for an adult. She has long blonde hair that reaches to the middle of her back, and is usually kept straight yet voluminous, or can otherwise be seen in a ponytail. Her nose is small and upturned, pointing straight for the sky in a cute manner. This can cause her to appear even more stuck up in the moments in which her head is held higher than normal.

Clad in gold jewelry, something she grew a taste for at a young age, Alexx prefers to express herself in chic business attire, business casual on a lazy day. Haunted by years of being told to make herself presentable, Alexx never quite understood the concept of "comfy" clothes. Instead, she opts to dress as if she's ready for an important meeting or interview at any given moment.

Her eyes are bright blue, a stark contrast against her pale skin, with long lashes and an often-narrow expression. With age, her face has slimmed out, and her angular features that were always apparent with her thin nature are now equally apparent in her face. It is typical to see her with her lips pursed together, face in a serious expression, if not disgusted. Alexx has never been known to have a filter on her facial expressions, nor with her tongue.

She is thin and boney, with only a slight athletic build primarily around her arms and shoulders- her quidditch days are long behind her, and she will be the first to admit she hasn't been to the gym in quite some time.

On the rare occasion that Alexx does smile, her teeth are perfectly white and straight, though her smile is often more of a smirk. Her eyebrows remain thin and plucked, and they arch upon smiling in a devious manner.

One thing that Alexx has always prided herself on is her ability to keep control over her emotions. Over the years, she has developed a rough outer shell that is hard to crack. The primary emotion the seeps through is often a cold bitterness that often turns people away.

However, Alexx is capable of maintaining a professional demeanor when the time calls for it. She is a businesswoman above all else, and would hate to jeopardize her image. She's not rude by any means, unless necessary. She is just simply not personable; you won't catch her making small talk in an elevator.

Something that has remained since her years in Hogwarts is that Alexx keeps her circle small- very small. She seldom gives details about her own life, though has absolutely no problem discussing the lives of others. She'll never admit to being a gossip, and will instead call it "relaying information". Ever the reporter at heart, she dies to know the information of other's lives, while not wanting her own to be the center of speculation.

She is a leader by nature, and tends to surround herself with people who will naturally follow her, or at least present as indifferent to her nature. Alexx has been known to butt heads with equally strong leaders, always wanting to be the one to dominate the conversation. She strives to be socially relevant and maintain ties to her community. That being said, Alexx does live by the old saying "it's better to be feared than loved", and has no problem scaring people into respecting her.

Alexx does prefer to remain nonchalant and mysterious, but if you manage to crack that rough outer layer, you will find that she actually cares deeply about many things. Her feelings are mostly rooted in anger, though she has learned over the years to not explode over the little things. Instead, she channels that rage into calculated decisions, or otherwise stores information away for a later use.

To her friends, however, she is fiercely loyal and protective. Having only rough relations with her blood family, she considers her friends her found family, and will do anything to defend them. Don't be mistaken, however- she will always save her own neck over those of most people. One would have to be incredibly special for Alexx to sacrifice her image or self in their name.

The Séverin's are a long line of French purebloods who immigrated to England in the 1980s. Most generations before Alexx and her mother's siblings are Beauxbatons alumni. When Jeannine and Franck found themselves in England, supporting the Dark Lord, it was also in that time that Vivienne and her siblings were getting their Hogwarts letters, as they were now legal citiczens of England.

The Séverin's are a very traditional and conservative pureblood family. They believe that they have the upper hand in the world based on their inherited magical abilities, therefore making them want to work to conserve the pureblood family line, knowing that their kind is dying out. This ideology, however, has mostly died out with the last two generations of the Séverin family.
