The door creaked slightly as she opened the door, a mark of how old this shop was. Of course, many wizards had come here before Paige. To Ollivander's, but it still felt very special. For she would get her wand.

Aspen wood comes from a tree that goes by the name Populus and is native to the north hemisphere.
Aspen wands are known to be of high quality within the wizarding world that has a resemble to ivory, the wood is almost a shining white and fine grained. By appearance alone these wands are known for their style and elegance within the wizarding worlds that even wanamakers have to acknowledge.
To match well with its appearance, Aspen wands are known to quite brilliant at spell casting specifically charms through. The wand wood is known to cast charms with perfection and even more flair compared to other wands which is probably why the wood is desired by duelists.
Aspen wands are sometimes referred to as the perfect wand for accomplishing duelists, with the elegance appearance and knack for charms the wand's owner at most times will be successful in dueling.
Aspen wand woods are best suited with maternal magic and classes such as charms and defense against the dark arts.
The owners of Aspen wands tend to be strong minded individuals and determined, if not adventurous also since the owners of Aspen wood wands tend to be attracted those quests and adventures. Aspen wood wands is the wand for revolutionaries.

Unicorn core wands come from the hair of a unicorn, a creature that is known for it's pure nature and gentleness. Unicorns in the wizarding world is a sign of innocence that some believe prefers a female touch, the creatures contain magic within their blood to keep someone alive even if their a inch from death but at a horrible price one that most can't pay.
A Unicorn core then usually produces the most consistent amount of magic with the least amount of backfire or fluctuation.
Unicorn hair wands are extremely loyal to their first owners and will remain highly faithful to their first owner for years at a time no matter if they were accomplished wizard or not.
Since the unicorn is a symbol of innocence, the unicorn hair wand core is least likely to turn to the dark arts and at times find it more challenging to perform dark arts spells.
Unicorn hair wands don't necessarily make powerful wands on their own but usually are with a wood that is known to be quite powerful within the wizarding world.
The hair of a unicorn within the wand is also known to melancholy if mishandled or harmed which means the core could 'die' at a sense and could need replacing.

Wands that are longer length are paired with wizards/witches who have a larger personality. Those who own longer wands besides from the fact that they are taller in height then their peers, are also ones that have a wider variety of personality and tend to think fast on their feet. Longer wand owners are ones that sometimes tend to act first instead of holding back with larger than life personalities.

Pliable wands are one of the most flexible wands that a wizard/witch can own. Pliable wands are ones that adapt rather easy to every situation and also has a better grasp on most spells and charms that is performed.
Pliable wands are ones that are extremely loyal and are less likely to change their loyalty to a new owner but instead are extremely loyal and trusting to their first owner.
