The tangible excitement in the air, the low murmur of the crowd, the anticipation - no doubt, Dee still enjoyed it as she stepped onto the stage to moderate the duel she'd been assigned to. Although she wasn't quite as swept up in the atmosphere as she'd been during the first stage of duels, she'd probably never cease to enjoy it, either, no matter how her own duels went... but this wasn't the time to think of that. She was not a participant in this one, she was the moderator.
Clapping her hands together, an impish smile spreading on her face, Dee drew the attention of the audience, waiting for the chatter to cease a little. "Time for the next duel!" she called, voice cheerful, although rather unconcerned. No personal stakes in this one. While she'd met both of the Slytherin duellists, she wasn't close to either of them. Meenauh she vaguely knew from their work together regarding the duelling championship, and the only information she associated with Galton was that the two of them had lost to one of Ravenclaw's teams first round. She'd see if they'd fare better against Slytherin, she supposed. Hopefully they'd set Adonis on fire at some point--Dee still hadn't let go of that small grudge. "Would @Meenauh Silmataurea and @Galton Lansdale for Gryffindor and @Opeila Winters and @Adonis Thorn for Slytherin please step onto the stage!"
She'd lower her voice a little as the four of them approached, although it still had enough confidence to carry to those surrounding the stage. "You've all been in a duel before so you know the drill, no physical violence, wands only. Play fair. Stop casting when someone drops so they can be taken care of. When I tell you to stop, you will. Don't force me to disqualify you, I won't hesitate to." Then she grinned at all of them, the gravity in her voice gone, and added perkily, "Have fun, don't lose! Your House is counting on you."
Done with her instructions, she'd wait until all of them had taken their places, then raised her wand to let a shower of sparks rain down on the stage. "Begin!"

Quite a lot has changed since the previous duel. All the events and the holidays. She was no longer prefect and somehow it felt well, although she was furious at first. Both at her father to ask such things, and at the school administration to follow her father's request. But then they talked. And now she feels she'll have more time to do the studying. And no one says anything about stopping to protect and investigate even in her regular position.
They've stepped on to the stage with her partner — Galton — who they practised a lot together. They've also done a lot of strategising with the whole team, which actually felt good. Oh, yeah, just forgot to mention that Meenauh even became a Vice Captain, probably due to her successful improvement in strategising, but maybe just because of her organisational skills. It didn't matter, she didn't mind additional responsibilities, especially with her prefect title wiped away.
She drew her wand instantly and put herself into the readiness stance. A quick nod to Galton would notify the start of the duel for her. And she listed the strategy in her mind with the first spell already on her tongue.
Action: being ready, nodding to Galton, doing as strategised

Her first duel was still a rather fresh, brightly colored memory in the second year's mind. Adonis and her had been competing against two Hufflepuffs, May Moonstar and a friend of Opeila, Willow Anderson. It was not like the two Slytherins had been crushed by their opponents, they rather crushed themselves.
Opeila could still see Adonis' wand backfiring at its user.
This time would be different, hopefully. They were fighting against two older students this time, but that didn't have to mean anything, did it? She watched the two lions while entering the stage. Opeila was motivated. Like in the last duel, she would fight until they won or she dropped unconscious.
Doing as strategized.

Galton the Glorious rose to meet Meenauh the Mighty on the stage. Those titles may have been a bit of a stretch after the outcome of the last match, but Galton's wouldn't let one loss destroy his ego. No, if there was one thing Galton knew how to do, it was get up after your fellow classmates maimed you with magic. At least this time it was expected.
And so he took his place, drew his wand and nodded to his partner. Turning his eyes to his opponents he gave a small wave. Just because they were opposing didn't mean he shouldn't say hi.

There was a bit of frustration present on Adonis' face upon stepping foot onto the duelling stage. He was still reeling from their first loss against the Hufflepuff's and even then he just seemed so much more easily irritated now. His debut was a major blow to him. It was also weird because that wasn't exactly who Adonis was. Maybe it was due to things outside of Hogwarts or maybe it wasn't. It definitely wasn't normal for him though. That didn't matter now as the duel at hand was what mattered. They needed to win this. Adonis wanted to win this. Don didn't care if they were Third Years, he would still fight them all the same and not back down.
The young Thorn clenched his teeth with a slight twitch to his eyes as he got into his stance, drawing his wand to prepare himself for the opposition that stood across from him and his partner. If they lost this? Well, he didn't know what he would do. Nothing crazy, of course. He couldn't think like that. His hazel eyes flickered between the two third year Gryffindor's, choosing which would be his target. Or maybe he already knew in his mind. Anyways, they would find out soon enough.

This duel, the same as the one she had moderated during the first stage, was one that had two second years facing two third years. Dee had somewhat assumed that it would go similarly, but boy had she been wrong.
The Slytherins had obviously decided to go for what they perceived as the bigger threat first - both with the same spell, although it wouldn't have any added effect if they both hit. A fail-safe, then. @Adonis Thorn and @Opeila Winters both cast Curse of the Bogies - beautifully, one might add, and the familiar shade of green the spell produced had Dee slightly cringing backwards. She did not want to come into contact with that. Neither wanted Galton, presumably, but he didn't have much of a choice: Although quick on his feet, with two precisely aimed spells from two directions coming at him, he did not get much of a chance at dodging. Both made contact, and he would immediately feel his sinuses clogging up with slime. Nasty, that spell. Dee did not envy him.
But the Gryffindors hit back just as hard. @Meenauh Silmataurea, unchallenged for this round, had the opportunity to calmly cast and aim her spell, sending a strong gust of wind at the opposing pretty boy, Adonis. It hit him straight on, and would keep circling him for a while longer, keeping him off-balance.
The truly most impressive feat in this initial exchange of spells, however, was performed by @Galton Lansdale, and Dee couldn't help being slightly awed as she watched it. She whistled under her breath. The Disarming Charm from the Gryffindor's wand split in two to target both of his opponents, and, maybe even more inspiring: He managed to hit both of them, too, sending their wands spiralling out of their hands. Adonis had almost managed to dodge the incoming spell, and as such his wand didn't go flying quite as far - he might have some attention to spare for his opponents while he looked for it. Opeila, however, would be quite preoccupied in the minute to come.
Dee had seen one of the duellists on her own team perform something similar, but it was a spectacle all the same. Now that was something she wanted to learn.

Her spell would vibrate towards the boy, and she had to steadily hold the wand to control the direction. To her surprise, @Galton Lansdale achieved something right away, what he never managed to achieve at the practice meetings. As her jolt of wind hit @Adonis Thorn, a spark from the Galton's side would hit both wands of their opponents, and their wands would fly out of their hands, making Meenauh open her mouth in amazement.
As they had a bit of time, she turned her head, eyes wide open, towards Galton with a silent "Wow!" made by her mouth alone with no sound produced. That was really an impressive start that should darken the opponents' morale. The practice really did him good. Suddenly in that big ludicrous boy, she saw a fighter. A glimpse of something ran in front of her eyes as if she felt some inner awe raising towards the boy. She had immense respect for great spellcasters. She would look at him just another couple of seconds before forcing herself to look back into the duel.
Reducio

The next action was already solidified in her action list as they practised different scenarios lots of times prior to the duel. As she turned her eyes away from her partner, the wand was already aiming at her next target, so there was just a fracture of a second before her next action was executed.
Action: admiring her partner in surprise, doing her next action without hesitation.

Everything hit its mark. All of it. No one had failed a spell, nor had anyone been able to get out of the way of the oncoming spells. Adonis got close, but Galton was able to just hit him. The results felt odd. And by odd, Galton meant sickening. Where his partner would have a short moment to look over at him , he had a moment to gasp from the sudden double dosage of snot rushing to his head. He needed to collect himself, and the stand of leaky mucus running from his nose.
With a charming snort... or sniffle, Galton tried his best to collect himself. He shot a quick smile (which may have resembled more of a grimace*) to his partner before turning back to the others. By @Meenauh Silmataurea's might and patience, it seemed the practice paid off. He was able to split his spell and actually hit something. Now for the next step in their rehearsed ballad.

"Mucus ad nauseam!", Opeila shouted, next to her she could hear her duelling partner do the same. It seemed they caught the Gryffindor boy off guard, both spells hit their target.
A triumphant smile appeared on Opeila's face, just to disappear, when Galton casted his spell. Suddenly her wand was gone and so was Adonis'. His was only a few feet away, clearly visible, but where did hers go?
As if that wasn't enough, Meenauh sent a strong wind at them- or Adonis rather. Well, if this wasn't off to an interesting start.
Action: Doing as strategized.

With a quick flick of his wand and the incantation that went with, a sudden shade of green flew from the tip of it, soaring towards it's mark. Fortunately, the spell landed and hit Galton. Unfortunately, Adonis was hit by Meenauh's spell, forcing him off-balance and only to be met with Galton's Expelliarmus soon after. He was so close to dodging it too but it hit him anyways, forcing his wand out of his hand and off to the side. It was in his range luckily. Adonis definitely wasn't satisfied with how this first round went despite landing a hit of his own. That much was apparent through the scowl on his face.
