The Ravens were blind, and so the serpents prepared to strike. No mercy, and likely very little remorse. As Callie and Thomas worked on becoming free from their fabric prisons they would likely hear the shouts of Flipendo from the other side. Callie could breathe a sigh of relief, it was only Thomas who would suffer the devastating force of both blows before he could return his vision.
AJ winced at the impact. It seemed so unsporting, but it was well within the rules, so he couldn't say anything about it. This would put the Ravens at a severe disadvantage however.
Though, perhaps they could get some wind back in their sails. As Adonis' cold only grew worse he would find his footing grow unstable as his vision began to get blurry. AJ wondered if he would need to call a nurse, but for now. It would seem the Slytherin would just need a few moments to collect himself. A few moments that the Ravenclaws could use.
My apologies for how long this took, was suffering from a case of the blues and had no headspace to perform this task with. I hope to be a bit faster now.Information

Pain, agony, this was the Chess Combat event all over again. Feeling the repeated Flipendos strike him, it was the only thing Thomas could do to remain standing. Still, he ripped the blindfold from his eyes, tossing it aside as his breathing grew ragged. The young Ravenclaw was small, significantly more so than many of his peers, so it likely didn't come as a surprise that it didn't take much to leave him woozy. He blinked away the stars dancing around in his vision as he looked over to Callie.
"Business as usual, I guess," was his comment for the round, and though it likely wasn't the time for it he offered his partner an awkward smile. Their last duel of the year being painfully predictable was quite a bother, he was expecting something more exciting from Ravenclaw's primary rival in the dueling championships, but apparently, everyone strategized the exact same. It was frustrating, foreseeing exactly what his opponent would do next, but having to act like everything would be a surprise. He was no Seer, of course, he had simply developed a head for dueling strategy.
"I'd tell you to bring it on," Thomas offered to Opeila, but the friendliness drained from his tone as he continued after an appropriate dramatic pause, "but I already know you're going for me next, so I'll save the trouble of taunting. The calculating Slytherin operating exactly as anticipated, I suppose I couldn't expect any less." Admittedly, Thomas hoped the words might sting enough for his opponent to not send another spell his way, but he knew in the end that his insults were empty and hollow as his exhaustion kicked in.
He had no words for Adonis, the guy seemed to be slowly fading away due to the effects of his spell. Wryly, Thomas contemplated the implications of such, the fact that his Mucus ad Nauseum game had gotten so serious that people couldn't last more than a minute or two before drifting off.

@Thomas Baines @Adonis Thorn
When she heard Adonis sneeze, she shot him a quick look. That disgusting spell... she felt sorry for him. It was an uncomfortable spell that she got to experience herself before.
Thomas wasn't holding up a lot better it seemed. The blindfold served its purpose and gave the two Slytherins the seconds they needed to shoot spells at the boy without getting hit themselves.
Though it seemed the Ravenclaw managed to approach his situation with some humor. He offered Opeila to bring it on and then added that he already knew they were coming for him. Clever boy. It only took three spells to make you realize? Opeila was amused. "If we are so predictable... Why do you already look like only a little wind would knock you right off your feet?" She shouldn't be wasting her breath on passive aggressive banter, but it was just too tempting. If this was supposed to stop her from doing everything to win- weak, very weak.
Doing as strategized.

Adonis was honestly just glad to have landed his spell with Opeila. Obviously it was predictable and clear as to what they aimed on doing next after having blindfolded them. Plus, his Knockback Jinx packed quite the punch compared to the other spells he knew. How could he not use it? Either way, it helped them out with weakening Thomas as planned, so. The young Slytherin was glad to have been able to see through to that. That was until his cold only got worse and so did the runny nose and the other symptoms that came with it. So bad in fact that his vision suddenly began to become blurry and he felt as though he would faint on the spot, but attempted to draw out the willpower in him to stay afoot and get back into the match soon enough. He would just need a moment or two was all. Hopefully. Opeila and him had unfinished business. Maybe not exactly with Thomas and Callie specifically, but they sure as hell did with their duelling record thus far.

For once Callie kept quiet, almost entirely focused on peeling the blindfold off her head. It did not take much to realise that Thomas had been hit hard and thus far luck was most certainly not on their side. Opeila's rather poor attempts at taunting Thomas did not help things either as Callie was convinced the girl needed coaching on how to bait people better. "For someone who has lost both of their duels, you have a rather big mouth." Callie responded with a polite smile, opting to keep her irritation hidden beneath her pleasant exterior.Action: As strategised.

Flamethrowers, Flipendos and Snot oh my!
This was shaping up to be one of the most aggressive duels AJ had moderated. There was very little back and forth when it came to incapacitation. Both teams showed they were hungry for the win, and neither side was going home without a few marks.
Adonis needed a second, and perhaps a tissue. The Raven's weren't going to let him have either of those things. Two spurts of fire would head his way and he would be unable to react quickly enough to avoid his robes setting alight. That was certainly going to sting.
The Raven's would not get much time to celebrate, as it seemed Opeila had been almost planning for this eventuality. With one elegant cast she would send Thomas into an oblivion AJ was quite familiar with.
The young Scotsman winced as Thomas hit the mat, but he recomposed himself quickly enough to shout "Pause!" Allowing the nurse to come and collect the fallen combatant. "Aye! Resume!" He declared, once he was sure Thomas was safely out of the way.
It was two against one now, but the Serpents weren't exactly sitting pretty. If Callie played this right, perhaps she could pull it off.

Callie could already tell that Thomas was going to be out for the count before a single spell was thrown. The boy seemed to consistently have a target painted on his back and this duel wasn't any different. The most frightening thing about Thomas hitting the deck was the sudden realisation that she was faced with a 2v1 scenario. Her odds weren't great, it didn't take a genius to realise that. Yet despite her increasingly poor odds she maintained a determined exterior and carefully thought things through. She wouldn't be much use if she allowed fear to overcome her rational thought.Action: As strategised.

With a mix of surprise and maybe a little resentment, Opeila shot a look at Callie, who apparently couldn't quite accept that her teammate got back what he gave out. Smiling the blonde girl pointed out that the two Slytherins had lost both their duels so far.
Was that a tactic? Were they both trying to provoke Opeila? Well, that they could have that.
"Don't put too much meaning into bad luck, Jensen." Opeila smiled. "I begin to wonder how you even kept up in your former duels so well. Is there a surprise coming for us still?" The young Slytherin's tone showed nothing but polite curiosity, despite the without a doubt provokative intent behind her words.
"Flipendo!" Like an attacking snake her arm shot forward, sending a clean Flipendo at Thomas and ending the game for him. Oh, how beautifully the fight was supporting her words...
Except that she had forgotten something. No spell had hit her, but both the Ravenclaws had casted. Quickly Opeila turned her head to Adonis, who was quite... occupied. Oh, Opeila knew the feeling... "Keep standing, Thorn... Stay with me, just a little longer!", she pleaded.

Adonis finally managed to come back from his senses after seemingly almost losing consciousness there for a second and holding himself back from fainting. It was annoying how everyone else got to trash talk one another meanwhile Adonis was occupied getting hit by spells due to how much of a target he was. It made him look like he wasn't doing much aside from the times he had the opportunity to throw in a spell or two. It ticked him off that was for sure. He was much more capable than what he had shown thus far and he hated that he wasn't given the chance to. As much as he would've liked to be flattered by the fact that they found him a threat, thus the constant barrage of spells for him in particular just like him and Opeila had done to Thomas, he couldn't quite do such. Especially when two Fire-Making Spells had just been hurled at him. Both of which he was too late to react to and found his robes engulfed in flames almost immediately, which he would let out a shout in response to such with his teeth clenched in pain from the burns. He tried his best to pat them down all while getting ready to make his next move if he could. He just had to hang in there a bit longer and hope for the best. Enough to leave a mark and help Opeila out if he was to go down for the count this coming round.

All spells this round would fly wide, though it would not conclude without casualty.
In spite of the twin flames searing his skin, Adonis stood tall to the last moment, doing his very best to take down their remaining opponent. Perhaps the pain was more than he had bargained for. Rather than traveling towards Callie as intended, his Flipendo flew sideways, darting perilously at his partner. Although unanticipated, Opeila would spot the bright blue bolt in time to jump out of its way. The Tarantallegra which she cast made its way across the stage as intended, but Callie was quick on her feet, dodging the dancing hex and retaliating with an Incendio Duo. It seemed the Slytherin was on high alert too, for she managed to avoid the flame, albeit only by a matter of inches. Her partner was not so lucky: he had withstood his burns for long enough, and at last gave in, collapsing unconscious onto the stage. The duel was promptly paused. Adonis would be right behind Thomas on their way to the infirmary, where the nurse would undoubtedly be capable of erasing all symptoms- but not the memory- of what he had endured. It was down to two. Ravenclaw versus Slytherin, Callie versus Opeila, second-years which would surely pose an even match and worthy challenge to one-another.
