The CROWN: Inauguration Day
Quinn had never founded, or indeed been a member of any club. The closest she had come was watching every episode of Ouran High School Host Club, and she didn't think that was a particularly accurate depiction. Nevertheless, here she was at half past two in the large Hogwarts Ballroom, hanging up a vertical banner on the wall:
An icon in the shape of a black three-point crown sat beneath the words, directly above the spot where Quinn was now standing, waiting for her prospective members to arrive. Exuberance, inclusivity, the hint of opulence, she hoped she was giving off the correct tone. Her letters to everyone who had signed their names on her flyers had been quite clear, but just in case they hadn't been received, or for the benefit of people who hadn't RSVP'd, she had prepared a stack of simple forms on muggle paper. These were to be filled out by each member, and when they were all collected together, they would form the knowledge base for phase two: the plans.
Feeling vaguely nauseous, she stood next to her table of forms, with a bunch of mechanical pencils and ballpoint pens she had brought from home in a little pile beside them (and a couple of quills). She steeled herself for what was to come.

Alexander would walk into the ballroom taking an extensive look around and making a careful mental map of the room. He would quickly notice Quin and would briefly pull out his wand and point his up a little bit and whisper "Homenum Revellio" after he only found that there were two human presences in the room he put his wand back into his robes where his wand holster was located.
He would soon notice the staple of paper and observe it and fill it out in a quick but organized manner.

My father Marc Varellion is a business man of decent renown and has approximately a net worth

My family would in total only allow me to acces around 100 pounds but will help fund me in case I work on a project for school or something else that teaches me something or can help me.

For now I do not have something in my possession that can be seen as extremely useful but they can be acquired at a later date.
Description of strengths: I am able to carefully analyze a situation and able to think calmly in a panicked situation. I am also quite studious and am open to researching certain subjects if needed. Furthermore I am quit skilled in stealth if needed and can help with security as I am often quite paranoid or so people say.
Description of goals: My goal is to gain more skill and resources for whatever my future job will be. My interests as of right now are to either become a duelist, a spell creator or a portioner. But as of right now the goal is to create more connections and get more knowledge to help me in my goals.

After signing the flyer in the great hall, James entered the ballroom, as that was where the flyer instructed them to meet. He walked into the ballroom, which only contained two people. For a while, he walked around, searching for any sign of the group he had signed up for. He eventually found a poster hung on the wall, which was about the CROWN. He quickly paced towards it, looking at the poster to see if anything was different from the last one. After analyzing the poster, he saw that it had much more information and was a lot more detailed than the previous flyer. Seeing the large stack of papers, James decided to reach into his bag and grab a white quill with a slight golden tint to it. He also grabbed an black ink pot to write with. He took one of the papers, and started to fill out the sheet.

Norah hadn't formally signed the poster, but considering that her roommate was the leader of the CROWN, expressing interest was far from difficult. She walked into the ballroom like she owned the place and didn't acknowledge the two boys. A quick glance gave the appearance of surveying her domain, and it wasn't hard to spot the stack of papers and the banner. Her copper hair was pulled back smartly into a long French braid, and she actually put effort into making the half Windsor knot in her tie perfectly even. Norah took pride in being well turned out even within the confines of the school uniform. She took one of the forms and sat down at a nearby table to write. From her bag she pulled out an elegant black and gold fountain pen, a gift from her father. The family had seen the wide range of quill pens for sale in Diagon Alley, and Norah's father had decided to one up them all. A fountain pen that didn't need to be dipped in ink every few letters.

Norah capped her pen and tucked it back into her bag. She waved the page a few times to help the ink dry before setting it back onto the much smaller pile of completed sheets. The girl bee-lined to her own housemates and leaned casually against the table. "I'm curious as to what you'll do with the information you've collected, Quinn. And you must be Alexander. I'm Norah. Charmed to get a chance to speak to you properly." She looked pleasant enough with a small smile and offered hand. No wand hidden up her sleeve, and powers of deduction weren't strained too hard from skimming the top of the already completed sheets.

Alex would turn some 40 degrees towards where Norah stood and would send her a courteous smile and gripped Nora her hand. Giving a firm but not painful grip and would after a second let it go once more before responding. "Indeed I am Alex, and it is a pleasure to meet you" He would say in a polite but also warm voice.
Shortly before she had introduced herself Alex had gotten a brief glimpse at the paper she had filled in and would mentally rub his chin and think about the information he had now gathered. It seemed she was also muggleborn and her parents also weren't quite bad off either.
Alex would then ask Norah a question with a curious tone but not in an impolite way "So Nora why do you plan to join crown ? " Alex would also studies the small instinctive movements Norah would possibly make whilst not attempting to be observing and trying to use them for the bigger picture of her so he could have a mental expectation of her and get to know what her way of thinking was and as such predict her possible actions. Whilst the method was not perfect often it was in general quite handy to get a decent feel of what a person is going to do.

Victoria practically skipped down the corridors on her way to the Ballroom, she couldn't wait to join her first club. She had seen the flyer in the common room for the CROWN and had signed her name, but now that it was time for the first meeting she had almost forgotten. As she entered the room she glanced around, not too many people here so hopefully I'm not embarrassingly late. She moved toward a stack of papers, taking a form and a pen before beginning to write:

Quinn walked in and looked around. She had seen the flyer in the Slytherin Common Room. She had meant to sign her name but had just forgotten. She shared a dorm with the other Quinn and from what she could gather This little club or whatever you would call it was going to be perfect for what she needed it for. The CROWN was just the type of thing she needed in her life. After all with who her father and her grandmother people were sure to recognize her once they new her name. She walked over and grabbed a application reading it over before sitting in the back of the ballroom against the wall. She stared at the application before looking at the room. She had a feeling in her gut that she wasn't so sure about anymore. She thought the this was going to be perfect for but now she wasn't so sure. She looked around again. She stared at the application thinking of the answers she would right down for all the questions. Some of these questions were pretty interesting. She sighed looked at the questions one more time. She then crumpled up the application stuffing it in her bag and walked out.

Quick OOC update: I haven't abandoned you! I haven't had the opportunity to post meaningfully since last week, but I have been preparing a few things for everyone's upcoming activities.
Would anyone be opposed to using our own simple dice system for CROWN-related activities? Specifically, I'm thinking FATE Accelerated would be a pretty good fit. It's very simple, just enough variability to give some meaningful failures (which everyone needs every once in a while).

Miss McGriffin does not detest Kendra (yet), and your character hasn't seen any situations in which she would show anything towards Kendra other than the same awkwardness she shows everyone else.
