Elizabeth Follett
Status:
Muggle-born
Nationality:
English
Residence:
Manchester, England
Function:
First year, Ravenclaw
Wand:
32,2 cm walnut wood and thunderbird tail feather
Appearance: Elizabeth is quite pale with red hair and light blue/green eyes. Her hair is medium length and slightly wavy and she wears large framed, black glasses. She is 5"1 and weighs 8 stone 6 with a fairly slim figure. She tends to dress in jeans, a jumper or t-shirt and black boots (when not in her Hogwarts uniform, of course).

Personality: Elizabeth is usually fairly quiet, most often found engrossed in a book. She read both fiction and non fiction (though she certainly feels as if shes living in one of her fiction books now). Always asking questions, determined to learn everything she can as soon as she can. While quiet, Liz is hardly anti-social. If people make the effort to talk to her she tries her best to be a loyal and helpful friend. Liz is neither pessimistic or optimistic, simply realistic, a trait that is helpful in many situations.

History: Elizabeth Follett was born on the 17th of November 2005. She was raised in a small, semi-detached house in Manchester with her mother (Jane), father (Wallace) and white kitten (Raphael). Her mother was an artist and her father was an astronomer. It was from her father where she gained her love for learning and from her mother where she gained her love of books.

Before Hogwarts, Elizabeth attended a mixed public school, doing well in most subjects but particularly in her maths and sciences. As she also spent most of her free time in the local library, she only had a few friends. These were mostly other bookworms, like herself, who also spent their time there.

As she was born to muggle parents, Elizabeth grew up with little knowledge of magic other than the bedtime stories her parents would read her. It of course came as a huge shock one day when she accidentally repeated a characters actions in moving an object across the room while reading. This was the time it was realised she wasn't exactly a normal child.

When she received her Hogwarts letter at 11 she realised why she could do the things she could and embraced this next stage in her life.
