If passing Stella you would often think she is just another privileged kid, however up close her features can appear to be quite striking, along with her stylish clothes.  Her clothing is mostly black with few other dark colours items, her family is quite wealthy so she doesn't struggle to keep herself looking nice, in fact she prides herself on looking her best at every occasion. Her natural looks, make heads turn wherever she walks, with her blonde hair and deep blue eyes. Sometimes she often looks deep in thought with her mostly blank expression, although when you get to know her she can be surprisingly warm hearted. She blushes when attention is focused her way or fiddles with her hair when nervous.

Stella is the second daughter of Annabeth and Nicholas Kay, wealthy land owners from Manchester. Scarlett, like the rest of her family, was born a pureblood, but she did not let this stop her from becoming friends with the local muggle-born and halfblooded witches and wizards. Scarlett's brother was her closest friend and someone she truly cared about, when she was young he had always comforted her and stayed beside her, until she fell asleep at night, stating that he will always protect her, no matter what. She vowed she would do the same for him. Later in her teen years she had stolen a necklace from a shop, when caught she had blamed it on her brother, the same night her brother came home beaten from the shop owners son. Feeling guilty for the pain she had caused him, Scarlett treated him with extra kindness for weeks afterward to make up for it, though though never telling him the truth. This was the start of many lies to come. Scarlett had always loved school and studying magical arts, but starting her new life as a witch, on a school that focused mainly on the magical world, her friendship with any muggles was banished . Knowing she could not be friends with any muggles, she formed friendships with those who only gained her social status, and therefore losing her true friends and sight of who she truly was.
