Physical Description: Athene is a short little girl with long red-hair. She has grey-blue eyes and some freckles. She is a bit of a tomboy and loves jeans and t-shirts, or shorts and t-shirts in the summer. She also loves wearing a baseball cap, but only to sports games. She hates anything else on her head and rarely ties her hair up. 

Mental Description: Athene is a happy, cheeky little girl. She is a bit of a mischief maker, but she never gets into serious trouble. She is a kind person and has several friends. Athene is the type to befriend someone who is alone and crying, or to volunteer to take the new kid under her wing. She loves helping teachers, but only with things that require a lot of energy, like fetching things or running around taking messages to other teachers or pupils. As extroverted as Athene is, she also likes to sit down with a good book sometimes, and recharge her social battery.

Biography: Athene has an older sister, Charlotte, who is in Gryffindor. Athene mostly grew up unaware of the magical world, until she was 8 and her sister went to Hogwarts. Athene's mother is a history teacher, and her father is a college art teacher.  Athene has lots of friends at home and will miss them a lot. She's not allowed to keep in touch with them because she's a witch.

First Instance of Magic: Athene accidentally vanished all the water in the school pond when she was 10. Luckily the fish survived the ordeal, but Athene cried about it for ages. She still tenses up sometimes when someone mentions fish.
