Once someone hacks their way into her inner circle, she will go great lengths to protect them.

Family/Home Life: Florian Novak is Paris’ adoptive father. His deep empathy and unwavering loyalty creates a safe space for Paris. Florian also tends to be socially awkward, which causes him to be unintentionally blunt. Their relationship is built on total transparency. Elijah Ward, Florian’s boyfriend, offers a rough-edged exterior but has a lot going on underneath. He is fiercely protective. Theodore Ward, Elijah’s brother, is the most rational member of the group, and he often acts as the moral compass. Paris’ biological parents were muggles who died in a car accident when she was 8. They were kind and treated her well. Florian found her a month later. Within that month Paris wandered around London alone.

First Magic Use: This happened when Paris was 10, a two years into her time under Florian’s care. Elijah and Florian had been together for a year. Florian had come home from a case for the Ministry and was exhausted. He didn’t want to talk about it, but Elijah insisted. As the back and forth progressed into a more heated argument, Paris grew angry. She just wanted them to stop. The light above Florian and Elijah’s heads shattered, causing them to instantly stop and look at Paris. Paris felt satisfied, but also surprised. Florian and Elijah both apologised to each other and to Paris for the argument and they all cleaned up the shattered glass together.
