She has small ears, thin lips, and freckles. Her hair is relatively thick. Her glasses have thin frames and sit well on her nose. Her nose is also small, and the bridge of her nose is flat. She also has freckles on her nose. Amanda often wears striped turtleneck sweaters and jeans. She usually has several friendship bracelets wrapped around her wrist.

Amanda Brown is rather reserved. She loves to read and write stories. She's afraid of spiders, insects, and snakes. She's also very helpful and friendly, but also dreamy and occasionally clumsy. She's a good friend because she would never let her true friends down, and she studies hard to get good grades. She especially enjoys learning about interesting plants and creatures

At home, she's a loving older sister who enjoys looking after her little sister, Luzy Brown. Her parents are both Muggles but support her in every way they can.
