Physical Description:
My character has straight black hair that reaches just below the shoulders and is usually tied back in a simple ponytail. Their eyes are dark brown, and their skin is light brown with a few faint freckles across the nose. They are of average height for their age and have a slim build from spending time outdoors. Their clothing style is simple and neat, often choosing comfortable shirts and trousers. They have no unusual features, tattoos, or piercings besides standard ear piercings.
Mental Description:
My character is curious, observant, and enjoys learning new things. They are the type of person who asks many questions and likes solving puzzles or figuring out how things work. Although sometimes shy around strangers, they are loyal and supportive to friends and family. They can be stubborn when they strongly believe in something, but they also try to be fair and kind. They do not enjoy conflict and prefer to think carefully before acting.
Biography:
Before Hogwarts, my character lived in a comfortable home with their parents and one younger sibling. Their mother is a Muggle who works as a school teacher, while their father is a pureblood wizard who works at the Ministry of Magic. Their parents met years ago when my father was assigned to handle a minor magical incident in the Muggle world. A small magical accident had caused objects in my mother’s classroom to move on their own, and my father was sent to investigate and fix the situation. While explaining what had happened and making sure everything was safe, they began talking more and discovered they shared a love for books and learning. Over time, their friendship grew into a relationship, and eventually they married despite coming from very different worlds.
Growing up, my character experienced a mix of both magical and non-magical influences. At home, their father sometimes shared stories about magical history and creatures, while their mother encouraged curiosity and education in the Muggle world. Family life was warm and supportive, with evenings often spent reading together or listening to stories. My character attended a local Muggle primary school, where they made a few close friends and enjoyed subjects like reading and science, though they often felt there was something unusual about themselves even before discovering their magical abilities.
First Instance of Magic:
My character’s first accidental use of magic happened when I was 8 yrs of age, they were feeling nervous about speaking in front of their class. As they stood at the front of the room, their papers suddenly lifted slightly into the air and organized themselves neatly into a perfect stack. At first, they thought it was their imagination, but their classmates noticed too, and the papers settled back onto the desk moments later. Although confused and a little scared, they kept the incident quiet, unsure how to explain what had happened.
