My character was born in central London, growing up she had a sister (a few years younger) who never developed magic. She has a cat and she's very sad that she has to leave it at home. They live in a mansion a few kilometres from central London. She loves taking care of flowers and of the garden.
Her first encounter with magic was when she put a piece of paper on fire when she was 6. Her dad had to put the fire down or it would have burnt the whole house down.
