At about the age of 9 he thought he saw a ghost or wrather multiple amd a black cat he was sure was watching him though his parents ignored it and his schoolmates mates call him crazy he is determined to prove he is right other wise he is actually quite smart

backstory
His parents wanted to raise him without the stress of Wizarding so they left to the muggle world to raise him they did use magic all the time just quite carefully so that Johnathan and the muggles never saw there was quite a bit of reasurch going in to it and they ate still seen as odd but thry think nothing of it completely satisfied with the odd muggle story as for the magic they never showed or told johnathan so you can imagine when he found out he was quite hurt by his parents lies as well as suspicious of everything in the Wizarding world he has a scar on his shoulder from which he was struck by a misfire during his parents final Wizarding duel with a very...persistent person it is also the only proof he has that he is a wizard which of course he doesnt know as previously stated however my parents knew i was going to hogwarts soon but they wantedto keep me sothey agreed on my 11th birthday that i was going not a minute early and when thst day comes they will see to it thst i can live normally for as long as i can and then there is his school mates who of course call him crazy and such he wisely ignores them because he never really felt like he belonged anyhow

first acidental magic
On the day after his 8th birthday His bully john was getting ag him about the gohsts he suposedly saw Johnathan seemed absolutely furious red in the face that johns jacket begin burning amd as it engulfed in flames and john threw it on the ground he was desperate to put it out and sudenly it was gone replaced by a very confused Johnathan hiccuping feathers
