My name is Carla Lillie Arrow, and I was born on the sixth of March 2014 to my parents, May Arrow Brown and Timothy Arrow—both wizards. My mother died giving birth to me.
My father is an astronomer, which means he travels all over the world observing constellations. Because of that, he’s rarely home. So instead, I was raised by my much older cousin Lucas and his wife Frida, who is a muggle. They’ve taken good care of me, and their son Theodore—my little cousin—is very dear to me.
When I was four, my father came home to visit. I remember being so excited that little bubbles started appearing all around him the moment I saw him. He thought it was hilarious and, according to him, very endearing.
I have the Arrow family trait: striking blue eyes. Otherwise, I look rather ordinary. Rat-coloured hair, pale skin, a bit shorter than most people my age. That is, until I smile. Then, as my father says, I have the most mischievous smile you’ll ever see.
It suits me. I like teasing people—playing devil’s advocate just to provoke a reaction. People often say I’m both immature and mature at the same time: mature in the way I speak, immature in what I actually say. In that way, I’m very much like my father. But from my mother, I’ve inherited something else entirely—an intense sense of justice. And that’s not something I joke about. I will never tolerate any form of injustice in my presence. Atleast not without a fight.
