Physical Description
4'8ft. Her hair is long and dark brown, usually falling in soft waves. Her eyes are a deep blue‑gray - the kind that always seem to be thinking about something. She wears round, dark‑framed glasses.. Her uniform is usually tidy, though her tie never stays perfectly straight, she always loosens it to feel more relaxed.
Mental Description
With Capricorn sun and rising, but a Cancer moon, she comes across as grounded and observant, and often sarcastic. Internally, she feels things very deeply, though only her closest people are aware of it. She’s ambitious in the sense that she wants to grow and improve, achieve great things, but she is not competitive. In fact, she avoids competitions of any sort.
Her ADHD shows up in bursts of intense focus on whatever she’s currently obsessed with, and in the way her thoughts often spiral into internal monologues. She cares strongly about the people she loves and tends to feel their emotions as if they are her own. Loyalty, honestly, and consideration mean a lot to her and she avoids people who do not share those values. Although she tends to get lost in her thoughts, she never misses out on an opportunity to joke around with friends.
Pre-Hogwarts
She grew up in a home where arguments were almost part of the daily routine. Her mother and stepfather, both muggles, did not know much of the magical world. Her biological father had been a wizard, though her mother never knew; she just assumed he was unreliable, always disappearing for days or weeks without explanation. One night he left and simply didn’t come back.
Her mother’s perfectionism and her stepfather’s gambling taught her early to aim for stability wherever she could find it. That environment shaped her into someone who notices everything, every shift in tone, every change in mood - and someone who tries to create calm for the people she cares about.
First Instance of Magic:
It was a subtle moment - When she was 6, during a heated argument between her parents, just as they were at the peak of yelling, insulting, kicking, and throwing things at each other - she made the lights turn off. Such a small clue of magic, her parents didn't even realize it was her doing. After a few seconds of darkness and confusion, they turned back on. She didn’t understand how she had done it, but she remembered the feeling: a desperate wish for everything to stop.
From there on, it was many other small signs of magic, happening more and more often, and always connected to her emotions.
