Physical Description:
A young girl with light, straw blonde hair. Hair is usually tied back in a hasty ponytail. Peachy pale skin. Bright blue eyes. Short, but not petite. She still has room to grow.
Mental Description:
Bryn is curious beyond measure, but not reckless in a way that puts her or her friends in harm. She has a friendly disposition and while she may be an introvert she really values her friendships.
An introvert who takes solace in reading and watching waves. Though, she's open to friendships and sharing knowledge.
Learned Wizard's chess from her grandmother. While not very good, she still has fun.
She has a habit of running her hands through her hair when she's stressed or overthinking.
Though, before leaving for Hogwarts her father had gifted her a smooth river stone to use as a worry stone should she need it.
Biography:
Raised by her Ravenclaw father, Oscar Barclay and her paternal Hufflepuff grandmother Lydia Barclay, a half blood.
Her muggle mother passed when she was an infant.
Her father is a field magizoologist and while they technically live in Hastings, Oscar would often take both Bryn and his mother with him to travel around the world.
With her grandmother as her tutor, she learned a basic education in both muggle terms and Wizarding.
With specific fieldwork geared towards aquatic creatures, Bryn has seen many other creatures. Aquatic or otherwise.
She one day aims to follow her father's lead and become an advocate for aquatic beasts.
But, growing up on the road, so to speak, hasn’t given her a real opportunity to make friends.
But, in her travels, and with the guidance of her grandmother, she has learned basic muggle means, as well as Wizarding.
First Instance of Magic:
The first instance of accidental magic happened when she was seven. While being watched over by her grandmother back in Hastings, she would often spend time in the back yard by a small garden and koi pond cared for by her grandmother.
One day, beside herself with sadness over missing her father and filled with worry for his well being she unintentionally caused the pond to whorl causing the water to crash over the garden to her surprise.
