Aelin Nightshadow was raised in a well-respected pureblood family in southern England. Because of her upbringing she knows etiquette, and rather informed about the world.Her father adores her and would do anything for her.

Her first instance of magic occurred at the age of seven during a family gathering. Annoyed by a patronizing remark, the glass in her hand cracked and frosted over in an instant.

She has a love for horses, since she rides from young age. her favourite horse is a black Andalusian Raven. As a member of a noble family dance lessons was part of life from 4 year old, but for her it was fun in elemantary school se won some competitions. She reads a lot, so she usually always up late, immersed into a book.
