Physical Description: Violetta Greene is an eleven-year-old girl standing at four-feet ten-inches (147cm) tall with a fair complexion, olive-green eyes and waist-length honey-blonde hair (of which she takes meticulous care of) with bangs that fall just above her eyebrows. She has a slightly thin build for her height and age.

Mental Description: Growing up in prestigious private schools and attending events with her parents, Violetta is no stranger to mingling with those who believe they're better than everyone else. For a time, she even believed it herself. While she certainly has grace, charisma and intelligence on her side, she is hopelessly vain and will do whatever's necessary to befriend those she believes to have 'status'. Even still, those that find themselves in her circle will likely always be considered as a friend in her eyes, lest they do something to earn her ire.

Funnily enough, as a primary student she came across a 'Real Rapunzels' contest in one of her magazines that took place a few months in advance. She desperately wanted a shot at the competition, and so she refused to cut her hair and did everything in her power to make it grow as quickly as she could. Ultimately her efforts were futile, seeing as how her hair was barely shoulder-length and it was physically impossible to grow that much hair in that amount of time. She kept the habit though, and hasn't gotten so much as a trim since she was seven years old.

Biography: Violetta Edith Greene was born to a wealthy family from Nottingham, one that held quite a bit of prestige themselves.
Her father--Everett Greene--is a business lawyer that's highly regarded in his field, often representing some of the highest-earning companies in England. Her mother--Mariah Greene--on the other hand, is the owner of an explosively successful luxury fashion & cosmetics company under the name of Montrier. Of which, Violetta is slated to be the heiress of, seeing as how she's their only child.

Her parents certainly love her, albeit they could only love her in their own way. Like many children that come from families like hers, even from early childhood her schedule was tightly packed with nary a minute to breathe. Etiquette lessons, private ballet class, and even learning to sew, on top of being enrolled in a private school that educated children just like her. With so much she needed to do, she really only got to see her parents every-so-often. She had friends there, sure, but they weren't friends that she felt she could truly count on.

What was it her father called people like that? Ah, right. 'Connections'.

It all became routine for her. That was, until...

First Instance of Magic: There had been a nasty rumor spread about her around school. Of course, the likely perpetrator being Julianne Powell, the very same girl that Violetta had to cut ties with after she was caught sneaking a cockroach into another girl's bag. Violetta had a reputation to uphold, after all. It was a perfectly reasonable decision to make! Someone like her couldn't be associated with someone who was so... open with her disdain.

Unfortunately, that very someone was just as open with her new-found disdain towards Violetta herself, and now just about everyone in school thought that she used... hair extensions??!! Oh, the shame of it all!

So like any girl worth her wit, she resolved to talk to her about it privately. If her etiquette lessons taught her anything, it's that being the one to stay calm and composed in any situation will always give you the advantage. Apparently, that only goes so far when you're dealing with someone like Julianne Powell.

It all happened at once. One moment, Violetta was standing across from her in the courtyard after school, next to the fence with the Gardenia bushes. The next, Julianne gave her little time to talk before she decided to use physical force, and pushed Violetta hard.

She stumbled back and narrowly avoided landing on her behind, but when she breathed in a gasp and held her hands out to catch herself, she found that Julianne's long brown hair had, somehow, in someway, twisted upwards into four separated locks and tied themselves to the bars of the fence.

All by themselves.

...Or so Violetta thought.

Of course it had been a mess to deal with after the fact. Multiple counts of detention with a healthy amount of demerits to the both of them. Violetta didn't like it much, seeing as how she usually kept herself out of trouble. Even so, she dealt with it the best she could and tried to let it blow over.

A month later, her eleventh birthday rolled around, and an owl holding a wax-stamped envelope in its beak showed up at her kitchen window.
