PERSONALITY:
Josephine is a moody but sometimes joyful, yet serious person. She can be cheerful, but also very serious when her friends are being attacked or if she feels the need to defend herself. She often keeps to herself, preferring quiet over chaos, and has grown used to being alone. Although she doesn’t always mind the silence, there are moments where it feels heavy, especially in the large manor where everything echoes.
Her room in the manor reflects her personality—dark, elegant, and controlled. She has a large black canopy bed with green accents, a black vanity, and a fireplace with a matching couch nearby. Everything is perfectly organized, especially her closet, which is arranged with precision.
Outside, the gardens are flawless and well-kept, almost too perfect. When she sits outside, she enjoys the quiet warmth of the sun, one of the few places where she feels at peace.
She sometimes resents her father for the pressure he puts on her, but deep down she still craves his approval more than anything. That need to be “good enough” drives most of her actions. She can be prideful and even a bit arrogant due to her upbringing, and she struggles to trust others fully. Her short temper can get the best of her, especially when she feels cornered or judged.
Her hobbies are reading and taking walks, enjoying the scenery, and flying her broom. When she’s on her broom, she feels free—like nothing can reach her, not even her father’s expectations. As she enters Hogwarts, she hopes to use all the knowledge it can offer her. She wishes to join Quidditch as a Seeker, just like her father once was, and prove that she is just as capable—if not better. Despite her confidence in her abilities, one of her biggest fears is becoming an outcast, especially knowing how popular her parents were at Hogwarts.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

HISTORY AND BACKGROUND:
Josephine was born October 31, 2013. She lived in Mabel Thorpe, England. Josephine lives in a big mansion with a lot of ground, they have beautiful Gardens, wild peacocks, and huge trees. On the outside, she lived a perfect life but her home lacked many things, but the thing that her home lacked the most was warmth and silence. She lived with her parents, George and Lily Smith, Josephine being their only child she grew up in a wealthy family with a lot of status and power. from a very early age Josephine grew up around gifts and expectations, her father wanted Josephine to be smart and to be better than everyone so he hired the best tutors and staff to push her deeper into her studies. So naturally whenever they had any type of family event, it was awkward and sad, Though there were sometimes where they got along, and we’re happy until they argued, Yelled at each other and then push each other away. Her parents both Slytherins expected her to be just like them of following into their footsteps of being a slytherin she did have many traits of being a Slytherin, including being ambitious cunning, and a strong desire to succeed. She cared about making her mother and father, proud, but even the strongest have a weak spot. She wished to have a normal life without pressure filled with love and support, no matter what But even though she was raised and forced to be perfect she still had some freedom where she’d sneak out run, wild and be at peace where her parents couldn’t get to her, and in that same ways, she felt out of place like she never really belonged.
FIRST ENCOUNTER OF MAGIC:
Josephine’s first encounter with magic happened when she was eight years old, during dinner, she was arguing with her father again. Her father wanted her to study more, practice more, to be more perfect. As her father was yelling at her to be perfect its like the world went silent her ears muffling her fathers yelling, She had bottled up her emotions so much that after so long she just snapped. They had argued many times before aggressive, loud, but never did she, or her father lay hands on each other, but this time she yelled really loud and suddenly a powerful force just shot out of her forcing her father and everything surrounding them to fly across the room. Plates and vases shattered across the floor. In that moment, she felt relief and sadness, but her father wasn’t angry anymore. He was thrilled that she had finally showed signs of her magic completely forgetting the argument they had before. To her that memory haunts her, it was never something she ever wanted to celebrate or talk about again.
SOME FACTS:
She learns quickly and performs with precision, often exceeding expectations.
However, her magic is deeply tied to her emotions. When she is calm, she is controlled and powerful—but when she is angry, her magic can become unpredictable and intense.
Her biggest struggle is not ability, but self-doubt. No matter how skilled she becomes, she constantly questions whether she is truly “good enough.”
Josephine owns a black snake named Basil. She had begged for a pet for a long time, and eventually her father brought it home. From the moment she got Basil, she formed a strong bond with it.
Basil is warm and affectionate toward her, often staying close and responding to her presence, but it is not fond of her parents. To Josephine, Basil feels like a true friend—someone she can trust without judgment.
Speaking to Basil feels natural to her, like having a quiet conversation with someone who understands her completely.
One of her earliest memories of flying was when she first got on a broom. She had been determined to get it right, especially knowing her father had been a Seeker. The first time she tried, she fell off almost immediately, hitting the ground hard.
Instead of giving up, she kept trying—again and again—until she finally stayed on. That moment, when she first stayed in the air, even for a few seconds, was one of the only times she felt truly proud of herself without needing anyone else’s approval.
