August is a lively young witch. She is a caring extroverted individual and loves excitement. She’s a loving person truly and love to share it with others. She loves to be socially active and is an amazing friend. She tries to be a friend to most but contains of group of friends who don’t bore or wear her out Though she’s nice she does not tolerate any discrimination and has a distaste for pureblood ideology. She is loyal to a fault, often not realizing or pushing away any mistreatment . She’s witty, often having cheeky remarks to whenever she gets picked on. She’s a clever girl. Smart both emotionally and academically. While she is kind she can be a bit of a troublemaker, small innocent pranks or jokes every here and then, a tendency to break a few rules and a mild stealing problem.

August was born in Conwy, Wales to two parents. Rhys and Delphine Pierce. Her mother was a witch and father a muggle which created a nicely balanced childhood. Her mother was a botanist and spent plenty of her childhood assisting her mother in the greenhouses. Her father on the other hand taught english at the local high school. Her mother is lovely, they lived in a beautiful two story house in Cardiff. Her father on the other hand could be a bit rogue, often being short tempered or disappearing for day at a time. Negatively influencing August and leading to many of her bad habits, such as a short temper of getting frustrated easily. They often hosted dinner parties and assisted (usually her mother) in local events though they did hold August to high expectations which led to some social difficulty and stress. The two did truly love her but they did have their moments of difficulty.

August was 8. It was summertime and she was at her grandparents lake house on Llyn Tegid. There wasn't much to do as her cousins had already left for the season and her parents had already entertained her enough for the day. Her mother had angered her just moments before, scolding her for earlier hurting her young cousin. Though looking back her mother wasn’t being cruel but she just was 8 and highly emotional. She wanted to hurt her. She stormed off down the halls to her parent’s room and slowly creaking the door open. Rummaging through her Mother’s tote and nestled at the bottom she found her beloved Russian nesting doll. She shoved the doll in her pockets and stormed out of the house and into the nearby forest. She walked as far as her legs could carry. She pulled the doll out of her pockets and teared up. She wanted to hurt her, in a fit of frustration she threw the doll. The doll didn't break. She threw it again. Nothing. She cried as she sat, thinking her inability to break the fragile doll was a reflection on her strength within. She clutched the doll tightly to her chest, squeezing it with all the force her tiny arms could muster as she cried. She opened the doll, trying to break each part individually in an effort to do some sort of damage. Eventually as time passed her head cleared and no damage was done she decided to head back. She picked up all the pieces of the doll and attempted to put it together but it didn't work. The piece had shrunk. She was scared. Her judgement cleared and she realized it was wrong. Looking back, the emotions she felt were strong enough to damage the doll in a way my weak arms couldn't manage. She looks back on that day sometimes. When she’s feeling incapable. With enough passion there's always a way and knowing that has always made her a determined young girl.
