Physical Description: Ruby is a young human girl with frizzy black hair and dark brown eyes. Her skin is warm and brown. She has dimples and gap teeth.

Mental Description: Ruby is very curious and imaginative. She had to fight the urge to mention she's "half-wizard" to her muggle friends countless times. Ruby dreams of becoming a doctor, specifically learning to use magic to improve modern medicine. Ruby isn't sure if it's possible but she'd like to try.

Biography: Ruby's mother is a witch and her father is a muggle. She grew up in her father's house in York so she's less familar with the wizarding world than somone with a pure-blood family would be. Her uncle from her father's side works as a doctor which is part of why medicine interests her. She thought he was a superhero saving lives and she was saddened by the fact that witches couldn't openly use magic in the muggle world. Ruby was told stories about the wizarding world from her mother, but it was all abstract to her until she got her letter from Hogwarts.

First Instance of Magic: When Ruby was only seven years old, she was at her little cousin's birthday party who was struggling to blow out the candles (the cousin was a toddler). Ruby, frustrated, unknowingly used magic to blow all the candles in the room out.
