My name is Alan and I was born into a Muggle family in England (London). My parents are Muggles. This means that they can not cast spells or have other magical abilities. Although I have no siblings, but I have a cat. I know my cat since I was little and I think she is almost like a brother or a sister. I noticed that I had magical abilities when I let ten plates fly out the window. That was a bit weird and my parents wondered how that happened. I was just angry and imagined the plates flying out of the window. When I got the letter from Hogwarts, I understood why the plates flew out of the window. I was so happy when I got the letter. When I wanted to get things for school, I did not know where to start. There were so many shops. I thought I would start with the stuff that topped the list. Most of the time I liked the shop where I got my wand. I wanted to buy an owl, but my parents told me to spend the money on school supplies. When I got everything, I read a lot in the books and told my parents a lot about what was in the books. Most of all, I liked Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The book was written by a man named Newt Scamander. I liked the book because it contained a lot of magical creatures I only knew from fairy tales so far.
