Paul Turner
Physical Description:
Paul is a boy of medium height and a slim, muscular built. His brown eyes are framed with light eyelashes and above them, reside two fair, thin arcs (his eyebrows). His face has the shape of a square. His ears are quite large. His hair is longer and light brown, partly covering the top half of his ears. In the summer, the colour of his hair might seem blond, in the right sunlight. His nose is short in length and its tip is round, similar to a small ball. His lips are rosy and thin, usually usually waved in a smirk or a full-teeth smile. His neck is short and pretty thick.
His skin is fair. There are several freckles on the top of his cheeks, specifically around his nose. In the summer, his skin tends to get tanned but it usually turns pink first. When it's tanned, his freckles can't be seen.
He doesn't wear dioptric glasses, but in the summer, you can often see him wearing one of his collection of sunglasses of different shapes and sizes.
Mental Description:
If there was one word which would describe Paul's personality, it would be restless. He's constantly in motion and full of energy. He always has his football in his backpack, always ready to play with anyone who's willing to join. Being an active kid, he prefers spending time outside rather than inside. You will never see him calm, unless you are in his bedroom and witness him sleeping.
He has never really been into the lessons at his Muggle school, not because he would not consider them interesting, but because of his restless nature. The idea of being closed in a classroom for an hour or so has always seemed terrifying to him. That is why he could always be seen playing with something or talking to his neighbours, or rocking on his chair.
Moreover, he suffers from dysgraphia, so he has to try very hard when taking notes or trying to do the homework. At the Muggle school, though, he's fine with just listening to the teachers during the lessons, as his memory is pretty good. That is why he prefers practice-based classes, for that he doesn't need to remember tons of information.
He is also very curious and his thinking is purely practical. To add some weaknesses, he doesn't really think much about what he's about to say before he says it. He is impulsive and has a strong sense of justice. He often tries the limits of authorities, being bold and cheeky at times.

Paul was born in Scotland, on the outskirts of Edinburgh where his family still lives, into a family of a cardiologist and a football coach. He has one sibling - a younger sister called Pippa. His mum and dad have a nice relationship, mainly because Paul's mum is often travelling with her football team, and their dad is spending a lot of time at work. The kids, therefore, had to learn to be at least partly independent, to take care of themselves when their parents aren't at home. That is where he has the practical thinking from.
They live in a family house with a garden, where both Paul and his sister were spending most of their after-school time, playing football and other sports, or doing a variety of activities. That's where he has the love for the outside from.
Their grandmas often came from London to help look after the kids, especially when they were younger. Paul's first instance of magic is actually connected with one of the grandma's visits.
Paul started attending a Muggle primary school when he was 5. His favourite subjects were the practical, logical ones, like Maths and Chemistry, which he didn’t have to study for a lot. He really has no talent whatsoever for languages and art. Sports, on the other hand (especially football), he is exceptionally good at.

His sister, whose teeth were growing back then, started crying, which made Paul, who was helping his grandma with Easter cookies, very uncomfortable. After several minutes of her crying, Paul somehow managed to make a closed packet of raisins burst and cover whole kitchen floor.
His grandma, seeing everything, was shocked, sharing the information to his parents.
