Revel Anne Reison was born on the 9th of August in 2007 to Charles Reison, an English Pure-blood wizard, and Arisa Reison, a Muggle woman of Japanese ancestry. Her mother passed away when Revel was only six years old, leaving her with a father who was rarely home. Revel was quite close to her mother, who had a dreamy nature. Revel spent her whole childhood alone, taking care of herself at a young age, which gave her a strong sense of independence and responsibility quite early. However, at the same time it detached her from other children who couldn't understand her, not to mention that having a Muggle mother was enough to make her an outcast. This led her to develop a cold exterior to her surroundings, often appearing as non-caring or passive towards everything. Her relationship with her father is somewhat professional. She takes after his intelligence, but both of them also have a hard time communicating, so they rarely ever speak. 

Revel has dark deep eyes, which hold great knowledge for someone her age. She has straight dark brown hair, which is often in braids or a high ponytail. She has a light complexion, and is often told that she looks quite similar to her mother. 

Despite being detached from others and not being too fond of close relations with people, Revel finds amusement in trying to read them. She's interested in human psychology and how different people react in situations, and she's surely bound to be intrigued by someone whom she doesn't understand.

She came into Hogwarts expecting to be placed into Ravenclaw, but was somewhat shocked when she was put into Gryffindor, as she didn't think she had the courage or bravery for that house.
