When Anirudh got his Hogwarts letter, his father explained his true identity to his mother, who took it relatively well and was pretty proud of her son and husband. He then privately explained more about his family history to Anirudh. Turns out his real mother was also a Muggle who knew about the wizarding world. When Anirudh's brother was accepted into Hogwarts, she was very proud. When his brother grew up, he became an auror like his father. He sadly died on a mission, which resulted in the divorce of Anirudh's parents, who had argued over the true safety of the wizarding world. This explained why his father was so hesitant to tell his new mom the truth. His dad took him around Diagon Alley early to meet some of his friends, so he is not unknown to the people of the wizarding world. He also noticed a Niffler in Magical Menagerie, which immediately caught his eye. As he continues through Diagon Alley, he meets fellow Hogwarts students whose names are Ethan L. Young and Logan Han (real players). Anirudh and Ethan met at Flourish and Blotts and quickly bonded over their love of Quidditch and books. They then met Logan Han, who appeared out of Knockturn Alley. He seemed to be mixed in with a little bit of Dark Magic, but he also enjoyed books and Quidditch. The three quickly became friends and promised to talk to each other at Hogwarts.

When he was about nine, he found himself in his school's final exam. He had previously worked for hours and hours, studying for the test. While he was taking the test, he noticed a boy whom he did not know was copying his work. He was very angry, but he didn't want to cause drama by informing a teacher. Suddenly, he heard a loud groan from behind him. Anirudh looked behind him and noticed that the kid's paper was empty, and written all over it was the word "cheat". The kid tried explaining it to the teacher, but the teacher assumed that he was just trying to get out of taking the test.
