Physical Description: A mix of Italian and Welsh genetics, Bianca has light-brown hair and large pale green eyes, accentuated by a heart-shaped face and strong cheekbones. It's rare to see a smile on her face, her expressions usually remaining fairly stoic unless she's around those she's found warmth and familiarity with. Of average height and weight, Bianca's clothes are usually slightly too big on her, having to wear hand-me-downs from her older sisters.

Mental Description: Bianca is a self-assured and confident girl, the type with an ego a bit too big for her britches. As the sixth child of eight, the child found herself a bit lost within her family, and so settled into the idea of becoming stronger, faster, and smarter than all her siblings. While this is certainly not true in every facet, Bianca believes it to be, and it goes far for the girl who likes to feel on top of the world. She can be a bit of a brat, never hesitating to try and one-up someone, whether it's Quidditch, spellwork or even mundane Herbology knowledge.

She doesn't tolerate laziness or those who lack ambition and drive. Coming from a family that owns their own business and makes their own way in the world, dedication and follow-through are core to who Bianca is in relation to her goals and aspirations.

Bianca is extremely family-oriented and takes her role as sister and daughter very seriously. Her loyalty is hard-won, and she can have a bit of a sharp tongue - sometimes with the subject deserving it. She's not a 'mean girl', but she's also not exactly the person you would run to crying about your problems. She believes strongly in a stiff upper lip and the old adage that 'big girls don't cry'.

Biography: The Rhys family hails from Cardiff, Wales. Her father, a born and bred native of Cardiff met her mother, a first-generation Italian immigrant while in high school. They married shortly after and opened their small Italian restaurant and deli within two years of their marriage.

Bianca is the eighth child and fifth girl of her family. Growing up a muggle amongst so many siblings led to her having a relatively normal childhood, full of love and support. Her parents ingrained in their children the value of self-sufficiency and hard-work and she grew up within her family's restaurant, learning how to cook and bake alongside her mother.

Her siblings all got along well for the most part, and while Bianca certainly was never doted upon, she was seen as the sister that required a gentler hand. Her need to be the best at everything often saw her siblings appeasing her, finding it easier to allow her to be 'the best' than bear witness to the mental self-flagellation Bianca would put herself through.

Overall, the family is close-knit, hard-working and every bit a standard muggle family as one would expect.

First Instance of Magic: At the age of nine, while working in her family's restaurant, Bianca accidentally burned a batch of foccacia despite her brother having insisted three times she take it out of the oven before it burned. Thinking she knew better, the little girl left it in.

When the charred remains of the bread were finally retrieved from the oven, her brother had burst into a fit of laughter, chastising Bianca for being stubborn and refusing to listen. Of course, this upset the child who hated being wrong, and in a moment of fury, she shrieked with rage, exploding every bag of flour within the kitchen.

Needless to say, her brother hasn't teased her since.
