Physical Description: A vaguely androgynous-looking child with photo-chromatic glasses, short black hair reaching till their shoulders and brown skin (south Asian/Indian descent). His eyes are ominously black, though he insists it's just a dark shade of brown. 4''10 ft in height.

Mental Description: Uses He/They pronouns but never corrects anybody when they use something else because he is used to transphobic environments and he doesn't really mind anymore. Very, very quiet at first (unless you have work to do with him, then he will talk). They might avoid social interactions so the friends they make are purely through others approaching them first or incidental. They like reading a lot and they also have a particular interest linguistics, music, martial arts and fiction books.

Biography: Parents were immigrants from India; He was born in India too but they moved to Ireland when he was a toddler. They come from a middle-class family and their parents are muggle-borns who were oblivious to magic. They lived in a quaint home at the edge of a modern town. He was often left unsupervised in the field behind his house so he roughed around by himself and learnt some invaluable skills such climbing a tree, etc, etc.

First Instance of Magic: They were 6 years old, playing in the grass in the field when they came across a owl nest. They were watching the owl perched on the tree when it started suddenly attacking them. He screamed and accidentally punted the owl a couple meters away with magic. He never told anyone about this and didn't realize it himself that he used magic (he thought he was just really strong at that time, and now he's practically forgotten this incident). The owl was fine, but then the next time it saw Sameer, it flew away immediately. He felt a little bad, honestly.
